Read moreTruly Awful! My wife and I booked 2 rooms here, The Lift and Steampunk Submarine, and we were unfortunately disappointed more and more until the moment we left. We have played 250+ escape rooms and though the rooms themselves do not rank as the worst we have played, the company as a whole is by far the worst we have experienced. When we arrived, we were told that one of the rooms we booked, Steampunk Sub, had gone down due to the previous group accidentally pulling some wiring loose. This was fine with us, as the staff offered us the Egyptian room as a replacement, but we soon found that the lazy and sloppy construction of their games may have been to blame for tone of their games to so easily go down. The two rooms we did play had at least one broken feature/game component that we were told to just skip in the game. In both rooms there was an opening or compartment that exposed the loose and dangling wiring that was not just within reach but also close enough to game pieces that it was easily pulled or tangled while just trying to play the game. The Egyptian room had more electrical tape either loose around the room or falling off of various connections than I thought possible in a single room. Seriously, if it doesn't work the first 100 times maybe try fixing it a different way. Electrical tape and sand don't mix, it will not stick. Also, most of the puzzles were lazily put together and either the result of incompetent toddler's hard work or a drunk who had somehow talked his way into making them believe he was an electrician. The only saving grace this place had was it's amazing staff. They were enthusiastic and tried to make our experience as good as possible. I cannot speak highly enough of their professionalism and courteous attitudes. They are the sole reason that we did not ask for our money back, as it was clear with the staff that worked this hard it could only be the owners that would allow such a dreadful display. The staff is too good for this place. They work harder than I have ever seen a staff work for owners who clearly...
Read moreHands down the worst escape game experience ever. I've done 15+ escape rooms in multiple cities and FLEE was the worst. multiple puzzles were broken, and the game master would not mention anything even when we solved them, but the puzzle wouldn't open. So that ate up over 15 minutes of time many mechanical issues. The difficulty in solving puzzles were not dur to intellectual challenges, but due to poor design. We'd get the solution pretty quickly but if you turned something to fast or too slow the puzzle won't work. You spent more time finding the exact alignment or speed of which to do something more than solving things. it was hard to see everything since it was so dark, making finding puzzles difficult or solving them difficult. For example, we didn't see multiple puzzles because there was just no lighting. Or we'd get the puzzle codes right, but couldn't see a tiny alignment was off properly so things won't open. We'd waste time trying other methods to get it open since we thought the original answer was wrong. some puzzles were already solved because of mechanical issues the moment you entered the room so you'd waste time trying to solve puzzles with pieces that were nolonger needed. That wasted even more time. not enough puzzles for groups larger than 3 people. Often times you just wait around waiting for 1 or 2 puzzles being solved because there wasn't enough for folks to do and too many people working on one puzzle becomes too chaotic. poor layout. There were some rooms where 1 side only had a puzzle or 2 and all the other puzzles were crammed i to a tiny area so you'd have too many people in one corner unnecessary distractions. You can hear all the other games around you which were distracting coordinator didn't prep properly. We kept having a random timer saying we're out of time even though our clock didn't finish because the coordinator didn't...
