I wish here could give me an option of negative stars. I have been shopping in this Costco for over a decade, observing the gradual changes of their store culture. Now the store is almost exclusively staffed with Hispanic store associates and they have formed a stronger and stronger discrimination against Asian customers, at a very primal level. Because it is near my house I still go shopping there very often. Today I went there to pick up the prescriptions for my dog and I did a little shopping too. As usual I went to the self-checkout lane to save time. I left my dog in the car so I needed to get back to my car quickly. The two customers in front of me were guided by the associate named "Oscar" when a station became available. When another station was open he didn't make any signal to me so I went there directly, with him standing next to it. Over my scanning to check course he came back a couple of times just looking without greeting or offering any help. When I finished, Oscar came over standing right in front of my cart blocking my way. I asked him, "The items will be counted at the exit, right?" Since I knew their policy has changed a long ago that the associate at the self-check out no longer counts or marks the receipt but leaving this task to the associates at the exit. Oscar said, "everyone counts". With a total member of 9 items, that I laid flat/non-overlapping to facilitate the associate at exit, Oscar counted a few times, again and again. Then he gave me back my receipts saying, "you'll be counted by the front too!" I then stood by the next isle, so not blocking any customers. I watched how Oscar interacted with other customers. Over the whole 10' or so four more customers did self checkout he never checked their receipts, he guided other customers when a station became available. Then Oscar saw me standing there, he walked directly to me, saying, "You asked me to count your items. You asked for it". I said "No. You are changing the story. You are now lying" He immediately pointed to a lady at the manager station saying, "Go talk to her, she is the manager" showing fearless of my potential complaint against him. I asked the manager on the policy, she said, the associates should count then circle the number of items on the receipts. It is contradictory to my experience and knowledge that they stopped doing this for months. I told the manager that it’s perfectly ok to check or not to check, but everybody needs to be treated the same. I was singled out by Oscar, what made me different? Being the only Asian woman through my observation. This is not that Oscar's English is bad enough to misunderstand me, otherwise he should not be working at a customer-facing job. It was obvious that Oscar abused his little power to bully me, the only Asian woman when I was there. Another observation is, one Chinese ethnic snack, "pork jerky" was put under a price tag of dog treats in an area of human snacks, with pet stuff all the way at the other end of the store. I thought at first it was funny and was a mistake. But given my experience of their iron-safe protection of each other culture in the store, I honestly cannot believe it could be an "honest mistake". The store culture is rotten! Attaching pictures of the pork jerky item description and my receipts without the "circles" on the...

The store like all other Costco clean well maintained but like all other Costco there was no customer service. This might be 5 if at least they acknowledge customers not a hint. Like all other Costco they were focused with handling goods and socializing to each other. But what I appreciate the most those at the front and welcoming people, those in charge in scaning membership ID also those at the exit doors. But this Costco had the most excellent service from John not sure if it’s right. He was at the exit door tall and was wearing a white shirt, we exited at around 3:35 PM He was amazing, we been to Costco thousand times and first time someone said”Thank you so much for shopping with us.”. It’s sad that Costco not focus in giving an excellent service, no greeting on the floor, no smile. They were always running and rushing and even their testers, ok some of them nice but most were this I meant in Costco as general. The cashiers oh wow no smile, no greeting, always rushing , talking to co workers. Maybe some doing great a job but i only saw like two in most time I was going to Costco. The reason we don’t use cashiers anymore, the self service kiosks won’t disappoint at anytime. The worst part at the membership and the return desk. It’s like you owe them a favor in shopping at their store. Let’s go back to this location, okay there’s only one helping at the pick up line at the hotdog etc food station and took forever to help me. When I got in front, the lady did not acknowledge me and was talking to the other employee then handed me the smoothie without saying any. No smile and nothing. The smoothie we haven’t bought it for awhile but this time it’s quite sweet, it’s like just sipping sugar that’s it, got a refund with a smoothie that I had only 3 sips. Whatever, I love Costco and will continually be their...

Slowest Costco food court I have ever been to. My primary location will have 20 ppl in line and we’ll all be in and out within five minutes . I have 3 people ahead of me and have to wait 15. For pre made food? Ridiculous. Gave this place another shot. I guess they have this new scanner for cards, however, I did not see it so I walked past the guy to go up to the counter and have them print me out a new membership card. My membership is still currently active. Next thing you know The guy at the front door, with a ponytail, started yelling at me that I needed to go through the other door. Oh well, I’m sorry I didn’t know. I will do that next time. He keeps yelling that I need to go through the other door, I was not going to walk back just to go around and enter the store. I was in a hurry on my lunch break. I decided to just grab my lunch and not even go to member services because I did not appreciate the way they were talking to me. I hurried up and paid for my food and then the guy from member services came up and was breathing down. My neck called the manager was doing the most. At that point I got really upset. I showed them all my membership was active on my phone and he said well I can’t scan that here you need to go back. I said I’m just gonna get what I paid for and I’m going to leave. They have horrible service, horrible treatment of customers, and this is the worst Costco location I’ve ever been to. Let me add, that this time I was the only person in line for the food court, however, I still had to Wait For them to turn around and...
