This rating is only for the appliance installer Brian Mahnke recommended by Davies Appliance. Davies Appliances deserves a five-star review.
We had a terrible experience with Brian Mahnke. He hooked up the hot and cold lines for our washer incorrectly and as a result, we lost a lot of money on cotton sheets, towels, clothing, etc. He left a big chunk of plastic inside the kitchen sink garbage disposal and we had to deal with ordering a new garbage disposal and correcting the problem.
He told us a part of our expensive Miele hood was broken and his solution was to glue it. After he did not show up for weeks to correct the issue we contacted Miele and they sent someone to replace the part for free and completed the installation.
Our Miele refrigerator and our Miele Oven's water lines were not hooked up for weeks. He did not show up to finish the job instead of our multiple requests. Our contractor had to hook up the water lines.
Our refrigerator and oven were making lots of noise for a very long time. It eventually went away but we are worried that there was an issue with installation.
After we contacted Davies to let them know about our experience, my husband was shamed multiple times by Brian for doing so! Unfortunately, we had to pay him in full in advance and we could not collect any money for the damages incurred by...
Read moreWe hadn't been appliance shopping in years... thank goodness. We decided to check out Davies first as they opened early. We were dreading the possibility of having to go to Airport Home Appliance. Last time, thousands of dollarslater, we got appliances (Samsung refer and dcs oven) both problematic in a short amount of time with the oven catching fire where the convection fan is. Not to mention they are like used car sales people. But I digress. After finding ample parking, probably because we were there early, we headed in the back or front door to be greeted by Steve Gutierrez. Straight away, he inquired as to whether we were already working with someone. Plus 1. He listened to our concerns, and me prattling on about my research, and then showed us what we might be looking for. Plus 2. While there were lots more pluses along the way, we left really pleased with the service and knowledge that Steve has. Not pushy but helpful when asked. Not in a rush to make a sale, he answered all our questions and concerns. In checking out pricing beforehand, we were happily surprised as to how competitive their pricing is. They don't appear to carry much, if any, low-end market appliances, but they are still worth a stop to see what they can do for you. And by all means,...

Brand new dishwasher is not working which equal to not so happy wife and not so happy life!!! .
The only way to get a new dishwasher is to get at least 3 service calls not from the store that sells you the equipment but from the manufacture. ( weird, very weird)
2 service calls on the books, almost there everyone!!
We NEED to support brick and mortar stores but when the brick and mortar store offers no service at all then I think it is ok to cut the middle man out of the picture? Asking for a friend...
(I do own two small businesses and when a guest is not happy we go above and beyond to make everyone happy)
Who knew that dishwasher business was so sketchy!
Got it go now (wife is on a meeting) got to wash some dishes! Brings back the good old days when I was raised in Italy where a dishwasher was a luxury.
Thank you Dave for bringing back some childhood...
