Mi Rancho Supermarket — Local services in Redwood City

I have gone to this location for several years and there service is always ok. Today I went and purchased a chicharron from their taqueria. The dude helping me was kind of annoyed by me requesting a certain chicharron. I paid and of course I said thank you as I always do and he just proceeds to say "aha". What happened to the you're welcome part. Common courtesy. I also proceed to go to their sour cream and cheese section, I asked the lady for half of a lb of turkey jam El Mexicano that was advertised on sale on their display case as well as online. She hands it over to me and once again I say thank you and she completely ignores me. I know I am not the common denominator here because I am always nice to people that are helping since I have worked in customer service as well. I like to be treated like a human and not like a burden. These people threw me off. I arrive home and I am putting away my turkey ham and realize that they did not charge me with the sale price rather than the normal price. I am not going to go back to the store for an adjustment, but Mi Rancho you dropped the ball on this one. Please tell your staff that if they do not like their job and dealing with people then maybe they should find another line of work. The girl that was in the creamery also gave attitude to a guy that asked if he could use the restroom. This happened while I was asking for the turkey ham. Super annoying, not only that the chicharron was so hard and the meaty parts so dry. Not worth...

Excellent Customer service & even better Super Burrito 🌯 honest price 💯. I usually go to Chavez on Arguello for my Barbacoa S. Burrito but lately it's been hit or miss & still around $18 after taxes. I've had a Torta @ Mi Rancho next to Target I went for it Super Barbacoa Burrito 🌯 flavors were great, portions as well the burrito master even diced up a roasted Jalapeno free of charge all for $14.27. What a great experience bye, bye Chavez maybe if I'm on Arguello & hungry otherwise Adios also the cashier gave me a $1 over 73 cents that was cool, no one wants change anymore. People complaining the employees don't speaka English well u have Goggle Translate on your 📱 knuckle head. Give a try they have Tortas & a whole mess of other food's that look...

They had great selection of fruits and vegetables and a lot of different condiments from Mexico. The staff was very friendly. I picked up a few things there. Tomatillos different kinds of peppers Serrano jalapeno going to make some salsa tomorrow. They also had a great selection of dried pepper imported. Also going to be great for making some salsa. I liked it. Prices are decent. Parking was easy. I do wish they had more organic products there though. That's the only drawback I didn't see anything organic at all. I'm not saying they didn't have it but it wasn't accessible...
