Gemelos Cantina & Sports Bar — Restaurant in Redwood City

Previous reviews say they don't have an ATM but they have one. This place is a great place to get a few drinks and talk with your colleagues. I like that everyone was very attentive and the servers would come and check up with you if you needed anything. I like that while being there it felt like a friendly atmosphere. Since they just opened up a few months ago it was a bit slow but the potential that this place has is there! They have pool tables, music and a DJ booth, you can choose the music if you want too, and they have clean bathrooms. A lot of places tend to not have clean bathrooms but this place does. Really liked this place cause it’s close to my house but like. Last week they implemented this new cash only rule and they don’t have an ATM which sucks because the bartender wants you to do sketchy Zelle transfers instead. They used to do normal credit card tabs but this new rule is ridiculous especially since there’s no ATM. Might as well go to another bar without the payment rules. The food is amazing though next door so my bad review only...

bar staff is friendly and attentive. it's dead though, prime time Saturday night and there are 4 people inside. maybe it's the neighborhood. no social scene.
