I visit this store often, and I usually have no issues, in fact the staff here are usually welcoming and very friendly. Except one, the older European-American lady working there today,10/3/2022, was very condescending and talked to me like I was a child. She has spoken to me like this on more than 1 occasion, but today I was not having it. She knows I shop her often, and i have seen her speak to other non white people like they were children, she never speaks to the European American customers like this. She was very condescending to me because I did not use a tray for 1 item i purchased- I was 1 of 2 customers in the store. Her tone and how she spoke to me was totally inappropriate. I then asked her what days she worked, she told me M-Thurs, I then said i wouldnt be in on those days, so she wouldn't have to deal with me. She then called me rude and then asked 'why would YOU say something like that?' I refrained from saying anything because i was already angry. I finished my purchase and left. I will only shop here when i...
Read moreGot verbally assaulted because I didn't agree with the worker with a color match. I brought in my beads (top pile of beads in the photo) to see if they had this color because I originally bought it somewhere else. The lady working picked a color which she claimed matched the blue I needed but they didn't match. They were more of a metallic matte type finish. I found a blue which matches almost exactly (the bottom pile of beads in the photo). She told me: "Well, we must be seeing two different things. Because I say these match exactly. But whatever the customer is always right. You're not going to find a different color to match because you rejected the match I found for you." She say a few other things and she did get an attitude after that. That was the first time I've been verbally assaulted at a bead store. I never go there again while she's working. She was not...
Read moreIf you love to create with beads and pendants, this is the place for you. They carry Czech glass, Mother of Pearl, Lapis, Hematite, metal charms of all sorts, shell, Amethyst, etc. Their beads are all laid out and color coordinated not only for your viewing pleasure but for you to better find the perfect addition to the craft you're making. They also have wire, clasps, earring hooks, etc. The environment is calm and friendly. The staff greet you and offer to help. The isles are wide. Some of the prices can be high depending on what your looking for, but I wouldn't expect much less for the quality of precious stones and beads you get here. The prices are fair. While you don't need their help, the staff make creations of their own on the side. It's a very pleasant atmosphere and totally worth coming and...
