Decided to do a "Corporate Team Building event" with Key&Code. There were 7 of us, and we had an absolute BLAST searching for "Bigfoot." The puzzles were challenging. We really had to coordinate and use our intellect and wisdom. It took all 7 of us engaging and being present with our various strengths to make it happen. We got "stumped" a couple of times towards the end but were able to figure out the puzzles and succeed in our mission after humbling ourselves and asking for a clue.

At our debrief dinner after, we were all really impressed with the thought and ingenuity that Key&Code put into the room. The props and plot were spot on, too. The puzzles had us reeling at times, but they forced us to consider ideas from each member of the team, and no one left feeling as if they didn't contribute. Doubt turned into laughter and celebration with each puzzle accomplished. Key after key and code after code, we grew in excitement and anticipation of "whats next," and boy howdy there were some awesome surprises!

The Key&Code staff were super friendly. Our team already discussed doing another room in the future. We were all definitely "Hooked On A Feeling." All in all, a huge shout out to Key&Code for making it fun, challenging, and memorable.

Overall, the escape room itself was great. We did Sinister Island on a Saturday night with 10 of us and had a lot of fun. The only issue all of us had was the employees. Very disrespectful, and horrible from the second we got greeted when walking in. When asking for clues during the escape room, the shorter female employee that greeted us originally, I believe was the one giving us our clues. We had asked for another clue, and she kept repeating herself, regardless of us asking new questions. Then proceeded to say “What are you not understanding?” !! The fact that a group of 10 people spent $300+ on an escape room for the staff to be utterly rude and disrespectful from the second we walked in is ridiculous. Can say we will never be going...

We had a fantastic escape room experience at Sinister Island! The staff was super friendly and helpful, making the reservation process a breeze. I did wish we could have sign the waivers for the kids all at once instead of having to do on individually.

The Sinister Island room itself was a blast. It had just the right amount of scares to keep us on our toes, and the puzzles were challenging but not impossible.
