Do not buy any expensive products from here stick to hot dogs and toilet paper. I paid $3,000 on a new PC only for it to die 20 days after their 90 day return policy. I wanted to exchange it for the same so I could have a working computer. All they kept saying is 90 day return policy. And to call their tech support. The thing doesn't work it tells me the hard drive failed and will not boot. Tech support can not make faulty parts work I'm sorry but if you spend 3k on a product it should last. And I understand sometimes parts go bad but that is the point of customer service to help in these situations. to tell me I'm on my own after giving my hard earned money to their business on products they are selling and representing that could not even last a year that's just horrible. Go somewhere that appreciates your business . I stood on hold with their support for 30 minutes and never spoke with anyone. The automated message said my wait time was less than 5 minutes for 30 minutes . I guess I'm on my own . I will be limiting the amount of time and money I spend at Costco from now on. And I 100% will not buy anything expensive from them going forward. I recommend you do yourself a favor and do the same

Okay, there is no way that I can say all the reasons why Costco is awesome; however, I'm gonna try. 1) best price for quality fuel no matter where you are (even Hawaii). 2) they actually care about, and take care of, their employees. 3) customer service (be it returns, questions, or membership stuff) is always personal and great. You can always tell that the employee/ manager wants to do their best by their customers. 4) best warranty for televisions anywhere, and great prices too. I just bought a 85 inch Sony Bravia, had it delivered and set up, and I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!! 5) all beef and kosher hot dogs $1.50 anywhere. And $10 pizzas! How can you beat that? 6) appliances for VERY competitive prices thar are national brands. Bought my whirlpool fridge there 5 months ago. I love that fridge too, best ice maker I've ever had. 7) best cash back card for fuel and Costco shopping on the market. 8) best meat prices anywhere, especially when you consider the quality & cuts. It's so rare for me to buy meat anywhere else. Only by buying a whole steer could you compete with their prices. Sooooo much more. Seriously, if you don't shop there.... START!!! I promise, you won't regret it.

I love Costco! Specifically, I'm giving the Harvard Way location a shout out. For quite some time now, I've been buying their cilantro lime shrimp on a regular. It's located to the right, in the deli/cold section if facing the rotisserie chicken. I have yet to be disappointed with the shrimp as it's never fishy smelling and it's always deveined which is a plus. It's seasoned and flavored enough to not be overwhelming but you could also add your own touch if you really wanted to. Maybe cut up a jalapeno and mix it in for some spice. I love this dish because it's quick and easy and versatile too. I've had the shrimp just as a snack, with chips, different rices, added it to salads, and even tossed it in some tortilla soup to jazz it up. The picture I've provided is 1.31lbs for $13.01, which to me is a great deal as I can easily make 3-5 different things to take to work for lunch or bring to a party as a cold appetizer or add it to your family dinner that would feed at least 4-5 people. Anyways, if you're pressed for time and want some decent shrimp, just run in, grab it, and use the self checkout.

I am changing my 5 star review to 1. I would make it 0 if I could. I 've never had an issue with Costco before but I am baffled by the service at your Reno, NV optical department. I called and asked how much it would be to get a contact lens prescription and was quoted $85 (so I book for myself and my daughter since I could afford both). I get there for my appointment and the lady at the front desk informs me that my appointment has been canceled and that I should have received a call. (there was another group there that hadn't been called either) I told her I did not and showed her my call history and also never got a voicemail. I rebooked the appointment for the following Monday since that was the earliest I could come in. The actual optometrist was good. I did tell him I wanted to get a contact lens prescription but for some reason, he wrote me for glasses. (I have never gotten contacts so I was unaware that it was the wrong paper). I come back the next day to Costco to place an order for the contacts and the lady says I have the wrong prescription. The one I was given was for glasses. I go to the front desk of the optometrist and told her I needed a script for contacts and that I was given the wrong one. The woman at the front desk tells me it could be another $84 on top of what I had already paid to get contacts and I would need to be seen again. I told her had I known that I would have gone somewhere else. She tries to tell me that their prices are competitive, etc. but I let her know it's the service I had an issue with and explain the whole appointment canceling with no notice, etc. She says that she was the one that called me and left a message and she opened her appointment book and pointed to my number and that it says she left a voicemail. I told her yeah, I had seen the book when I came in for my canceled appointment and we double-checked the number and it was accurate I just had never received a call or a voicemail. She talked back in an awful tone that she DID call and it was neither here nor there but I personally think this is unacceptable to treat her customers like that! I have been in customer service for 15 years and have NEVER spoken like that to one of my customers. I would have been fired on the spot! I had no option but to walk out. I am a single mother and I cannot afford another $84. I wouldn't have paid for the second appointment for my daughter had I been given the correct pricing upfront. There was ample opportunity for them to give me the right price. When I called to inquire, when I came for my canceled appointment, and when I came for my rescheduled appointment. I told them each and every time that I was there for a contact lens prescription but was never told that was the price. Now I'm stuck with a pointless glasses prescription that I didn't need, I'm out $85 and I can't get my contact lens prescription without paying double what I was quoted. As a single mom, planning a funeral for a family member that died of covid19 I have absolutely no way of affording that...

I've been coming since Covid started and I have a medical exemption from my doctor to not wear a mask, not a shield, and it's not related to breathing, I had a trauma experience as a teen, far as I'm going, that I really can't do masks, shields, so it was nice that Costco was allowing the exemption. I wouldn't go out if I was ill. I'm very careful. And yes, been tested, I drive an hour and a half to get my groceries, stock up. Come in today and state to Vicki, the lady that has always been short with me, always been terrible with customer service and I've reported her before, state I have the medical excuse, she smiles so big, and points to the sign that they are no longer taking medical exemptions. This is against the law, ADA act. I was about to leave, but I really needed to use the restroom before we headed home, so I took the mask but didn't use it. The rest of the store was fine. Until I was walking out. As I was passing the vision center, a lady told me to put a mask on. I said I'm just leaving. She said you have to while you're in here, I said no, I'm leaving. She went to a manager, and loudly stated what occurred, and I was "escorted" out. I'm mortified. I'm a very shy, polite, calm person. I give my time to Children's organizations, and donate to children's charities. The way people have changed and who are "safe" in having income but wearing the masks, have become terrible in customer service. It's sad, I've talked to many, MANY, people that have noticed it. There are still great people out there, I know there is an older gentleman that works the doors at Costco and he's always been super nice to me. He's the exception... we canceled our membership, after 18 years once. I know they don't care, but guess it will have to...

I have gone to this Costco with absolutely no problems. I bought my furniture here when I moved. I bought my kitchen dining table. I’ve bought so many things from here without a problem EVER! today I made the mistake of going to self check out even though one of the employees made a joke, saying if you go to the self check out, you’re gonna get a “pat down” at the door. As soon as I showed them my receipt to the guy at the door and he saw the color of my receipt and with it saying self check out, he started touching all of my items in the cart. He didn’t even ask me if it was OK he had just wiped off his sweat from his forehead and he touched all of my things in the cart.I was really pissed off at the way that he miscounted my items five times. He had us standing there like we were thieves and he kept counting over and over again. I asked him what is the problem we were helped at self check out with the gun scanner. What is the problem and he proceeded to tell me that he miscounted well thank goodness he’s not on the register if he can’t count things in the cart? He kept getting the math wrong until finally he decided to mark off whatever items he can see on my receipt. He pulled away two items that the employee who helped me forgot to scan. I have never felt so embarrassed to shop at Costco. I have never been pulled to the side like that in front of multiple people to see him going through all my stuff and touching my things and not even being careful about it his name is Will, he’s a male probably in his 40s. Do better sir that was...
