Worth a little SIDE QUEST when you are travelling! Because these are the rock LOVERS.

Its right across from the craziest Costco parking lot in the world, but there is plenty of parking RIGHT in front of the store.

They are experienced, have multiple locations and they deeply understand the joy of what they sell. They have gone to GREAT LENGTHS to make sure you know the stones you are picking.

They send a little description sheet of paper with every thing you buy, they will box for shipping or carry in luggage, post office is just a few blocks away.

New stuff shows up all the time and its a parade of cool choices in a tiny spot. You will see new things and find the regular stuff you are always in need of. perfect for those who have altars, magic, collectors, or jewelry making.

TIP: No restroom nearby so GO BEFORE you come, because the sound of the water feature in the store makes it really hard to...

Cool shop, but once you understand how rose quartz is actually mined in Madagascar, or lapis lazuli in Afghanistan, or any of these minerals basically mined by people who are pretty much slaves in various poor countries around the world, I can’t see why people buy them anymore. How can rose quartz possibly be good for your soul when it was mined in such horrific conditions and a virgin forest was cut down to obtain it, the answer is it can’t. Also a little more geologic descriptions of rocks and a little less woo woo would be nice, rocks are actually cool for their chemical/geologic properties too but this is missed here. That said the store is cool and the staff are friendly. Cool place to take visiting...

A MUST IF IN TOWN 💕 Love 💞 Stone Age Quarry is definitely a place to go if your into stones. The young lady I dealt with was super knowledge and friendly. She made me feel at home asking questions. I could have spent a whole day in store just "ooing" and "aawing". The prices were super good too. Great for kids, young adults & even old timers. Something for everyone, every interest or hobby. Only issue I had, was the lady at checkout (older, and shorter) was hard of hearing. Had to repeat myself and raise my voice level to a uncomfortable level. However, she packed my gems with love, and information on most of...

This little store is amazing. I like buying their necklaces and bracelets for my nieces and great nieces. The 3 in my photo came with separate boxes and each has a description of the rocks used to make it. All 3 cost a total of $20 plus sales tax. The staff has always been very helpful and they always seem to enjoy working with their products while having patience with newbies that don't know much about these types of rocks. The small store has shelves packed with an awesome assortment of items. It is worth taking the effort to just look inside for 10 or 20 minutes.
