Hage's Market — Local services in Ridgeley

I have been a little apprehensive about going to hages since the new owners took over but I finally gave in and tried their chicken. I must say definitely worth a try! They made it fresh! Hand breaded and fried right in front of you. Yes, it took a little long but it was well worth the wait. They were very friendly and communicated with us about our food and the "delay" due to it being fresh. The new owners have made a fun change - The Indian food! I got some sweet treats a few months ago, and noticed the they had more selections to try later. I went in the other day and instead of Indian sweet treats, there was homemade holiday in the USA style treats - peanut butter fudge, etc. I didn't notice anything from India, so I'm not sure if they are just celebrating the holidays or if they are switching it out because I'm probably the only person who cooks masala at this end...

Hagges is a good place to go I would recommend it the only thing is they need to be more on time with when they open they say 6:00 a.m. but I've seen the time where I sat there till 6:30 a.m. before they finally opened so if they would be more on top of that and open it up when they say that would fix everything but other than that it's a nice little store to go...
