Desperado Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Ridgeley

First and foremost the bartenders are fantastic people. The building is particularly small, so it's impossible to avoid anyone if you don't get along with them, with that being said the people that regularly visit this particular bar are a 50/50 mix of friendly, or the worst people you'll ever meet. You can expect both smiles and laughter, as well as a fist fight at any given moment. It's not the bar's fault by any means that the people who choose to frequent the establishment are generally trash, as they do their best to prevent it. You can't exactly ban all of the troublemakers because then the building would generally be empty. Visit before 10:30-11pm and get something to eat, (they make fantastic subs) enjoy slot machines, watch sports, and enjoy the very friendly bartenders, but once the drunkards arrive it's probably best...

Desperado's has become our favorite lil out of the way place to eat, so much so, that we had them cater our wedding this past Saturday. The food made the wedding party, one compliment after another. I really want to thank the owner, the cook and all of the staff for always making our visit there a pleasure. The chicken is top notch, as well as the macaroni and potato salad. We had them do chili so we'd have a soup to offer... that flew off the table as well! Thank you again, Pete Herrell Sr...

Was visiting Ridgeley from Canada and stopped here for a beer. The place doesn't look too inviting from the outside but once inside its a small quaint bar with great drink prices and lots of slot machine games. People were nice too. Will stop by here again when I'm in the area, next time I'll...
