The Ruben was pretty good, albeit it was a mess taking it apart to add the 1,000 Island dressing that they serve on the side instead of putting it on the sandwich before grilling like everywhere else on the planet, plus, I had to send it back to be grilled properly.... it was originally served on warm bread instead of being grilled to a golden brown.

The French Fries were inedible!!! Like limp greasy noodles. Perhaps the worse fries I've ever been served.

My $5 chocolate fudge cake was just as bad as the fries. It was a store-bought piece of crap, the size of a muffin, that was over-nuked in the microwave. I actually burned my finger while pealing the paper cup away from the biggest waste of $5 one could imagine.

I usually have 2 or 3 glasses of sweet tea with my dinner, however, I could only get one glass because they ran out 45 minutes before stopping food service. So I asked for water... I was brought 1/4 cup full??? I guess they were trying to rush me out, even though there were about 15 other people in this "Sports Bar" watching the 8th inning of a Pirates play-off game on about 8 big TVs... And there was still over 20 minutes before closing. Either that, or they ran out of tap water as well???

Don't thing I'll be eating there again.... unless every other eating establishment in Cumberland closes, including the fast-food joints (and I hate fast food, but it's still better than Patrick's Pub).

I will say that the service was good... but the fries, cake, and lack of tea ruined it for me. For about $5 more, I could have gone to Lavale and had and awesome steak, with a great salad, my fill of tea, and wonderful fresh bread.... I would gladly drive a bit further and spend a bit more money for real food.

If you want to get drunk and watch sports on several TVs at once, you might like this place. But if your sober, and hungry for good food, drive on past and look for ANYTHING else.

Two years later... Out of desperation to watch the Cap's play, I gave it another try. Not only does amateur basketball rank higher than NHL playoffs according to television placement, but the food was even worse than I remembered. In fact, I barfed outside of my garage as soon as I pulled into the driveway. I will give them one star, because they did have the game on, and gave me a little portable speaker to listen. Plus the service...

Went here for a new experience. Left there feeling straight up angry, and partially disappointed.

My fiancè and I started our visit with two appetizers. One was called "Hog Heaven," which was essentially just a plate of cheese nachos with pulled pork in it. The other was crab dip. The crab dip in and of itself was the best thing we ordered. It was delicious, aside from the weird oil covered breadsticks with them. The Hog Heaven, on the other hand, was equivalent to 7-11 brand nachos and cheese, with plain pulled pork on it and pico for color. The waitress also conveniently left out the fact that it was also designed to feed a family of nine and a half, instead of two people picking at food to try.

For our dinners, I ordered the Chicken Romero, and my fiancè ordered a chicken and mushroom sandwich. Both of our sides were fries. Her sandwich was okay at best. Her chicken was bland, and there was enough grease that her sandwich fell to bits. My sandwich was the worst thing I've ever had at a resteraunt. When the plate was sat down at the table, I got a big whiff of the sandwich. It smelled like vomit on the street that had sat in the sun for days. I figured it must be a pungent cheese smell. So I took a bite, and the sandwich also tasted like vomit. It took all of my strength to not spill my guts on the table. The fries we received are better described as noodles, soaked in grease.

Our waitress was fine at least, but as expected in a small area resteraunt, she lacked personality. She only checked up on us twice; once when we sat down for drinks, once to order our food, once when she asked if we wanted boxes and for a refill, and once to take our money. She genuinely seemed like a nice person, but quite unmotivated.

While our waitress was getting our check, I noticed that two other waitresses, as well as the manager, were staring at us the whole time. I caught them at least three or four times, all looking at us to hurry.

On top of all of that, two appetizers, two mains, and two drinks, cost us more than fifty dollars. If I'm not mistaken, the cost for all the things to make this food would be around twenty dollars. I would understand a thirty-five dollar bill at most, but fifty is robbery.

TLDR; If you're looking for a local pub that is genuinely interesting and cheap and delicious, I suggest...

I will never again eat at Patrick’s Pub ever again in my life. Whoever the lady was that came out of the back in the kitchen that’s was BEYOND disrespectful and disgusting should never be aloud to work with the public. They close at 9 and we were waiting for a while for our food and drinks we loved the waitress she was the sweetest and so kind she brought us our checks and we forgot to get a to go order for the daughter of the friends we were with and asked if we could still put it in, she said she could no problem (it was just a baked potato) she added it to the check and then went back to get it. Some woman in the kitchen being EXTREMELY loud and cussing saying we had 2 f’ing seconds to get out before she causes a scene and then proceeds to WALK OUT with the WORST attitude asking if she could “help us with something” and bad mouthing our waitress for “putting food in after 9” and after we said we were waiting on the last part of our order and for her to grab the check she walks back into the kitchen cussing and yelling about us being there and talking bad about the waitress again. I want to preference by saying it was 9:15 IT WAS 15 MINUTES passed 9 we just spent probably 100$ and left a very good tip and weren’t even finished the drinks we got because it took a while to get them. The absolute WORST experience I have ever had there and just pure disgusting. I have worked in restaurants before and I have never closed exactly on time ever and would never treat people like that. I also want to say no one said anything to us about them closing at 9 or even giving us a heads up like hey we close in 5 minutes or anything, I never ever post about these thing I’m usually the let it go kind of person but this was just uncalled for and...

Love Patrick’s! We’ve eaten here a couple times now and are impressed with the flavor of the food. It’s comfort food mainly but we notice a lot of people really like their salads. We are in love with the chicken pot pie, it’s the best one you’ll ever have! The flavor is phenomenal and it’s huge, definitely big enough to share if you get an app. I also had the wings on a recent visit and they were nice and crisp. Mozzarella logs are very cheesy, I prefer them over traditional mozzarella sticks for sure. We can’t wait to come back here during the warmer months and dine outside. New local favorite!

Visiting from out of town and really enjoyed Patrick’s. Got it for takeout the first night we were here and loved it so much we came back to dine in a few days later! We were really impressed with the pot pie. It was hearty with a great crust and flavor. The fish and chips were also great with the zucchini fries. I also really enjoyed the sweet potato fries with their apple type dipping sauce. The homemade mozzarella “bricks were really good. Overall would strongly recommend. -BJ

First off food main course I got was plenty full and good. Except the dessert was insanely disappointing and absolutely not acceptable. Extremely over priced for the serving it was $7.50 for a slice of new cheesecake, which in all isn’t bad but you would think at a restaurant it be decent size wrong. Won’t be returning due the dessert alone is a joke. Usually don’t leave reviews but sheesh, first and last time I’ll eat here.
