Anchors End Tattoo — Local services in River Falls

Ive been debating about whether I want to share my experience or not, but I figured I should. I can't speak for the tattoo end of this business (the artists seem amazing!), but Ive had a continually poor experience with piercings at this shop. Ive had 5+ separate pieces of jewelry, many being $90+, fall out and need to be replaced. This is not due to me playing with the jewelry. They were thread-less pieces that the pin was not correctly bent. Or in a couple instances a captive bead consistently popping out of the ring. The last time I went into the shop, I went to get a thread-less stud as the $90 real gold piece they put in popped off in the middle of the night while I was sleeping. I go to put the jewelry in myself and the pin didn't even have a bend in it. Another waste of money since I couldn't even put in the jewelry. I have NEVER had this many pieces of jewelry fall of before. And ALL of them were installed at this shop. The ones I have that haven't popped off had been worked on at other shops. Not to mention the piercer is SUPER rough on the body. This part is a little more of a suggestion, but they also don't have a very large variety of quality jewelry pieces. Im talking implant grade, INTERNALLY THREADED only, pieces. I understand wanting to provide more affordable options to clients, but there are quality options out there that wont break the bank and still aren't poor jewelry pieces. That all being said, as much as I would love to continue giving this local shop my support, Ive lost way too...

I was a little nervous at first because Mandi didnt have barely any pictures of lip piercings on her instagram but boy was I glad I stuck with it! When I went inside I was greeted with an enthusiastic smile from everyone and I felt the most welcome in a tattoo/piercing shop I ever have. I got double vertical labret piercings on my bottom lip and Mandi really took the time to measure them out to make sure they would sit perfectly. She had the kindest touch, everything was squeaky clean, the jewelry was top quality, and she seemed really excited to do the piercings and not that it was just her job. She definitely knows what shes doing. There are not enough good things I could say about Anchors end. The first time I ever went was the Duluth location for my 18th birthday, nose piercing! The staff was amazing as usual. Shortly after that I received my first tattoo from Matt at the Hudson location. From there I started working with Luke Mashuga who’s got mad talent. He’s hilarious! Makes sitting through a large tattoo quite enjoyable. We worked on my thigh piece yesterday at their brand new location in River Falls and I had the best time!
