Second Chances Thrift Store — Local services in River Falls

We went in and asked the manager a simple question and they were very rude. So rude I was speechless for a moment. We left. Flashback a month or two ago, I’m in the nail salon next door and this same manager was there. They were speaking loudly so the whole salon could hear them say they were the manager at Second Chances and they got their nails done while they were supposed to be working. I wasn’t going to sell them out but maybe I should have back then. Bad experience....

This is my favorite thrift store to shop at and to donate to. The inventory is well-organized, the customer service is great, and the prices are the most reasonable I’ve found in the area. I thrift a lot, and I’ve gotten some great pieces. Found a brass vase for $2, and I saw similar items at other thrift stores going for $10. The store is well organized and clean, but I think their prices have gotten a bit high on clothing. Saw a Carharrt jacket priced at $40, which wouldn’t have been bad but it was stained in the front. Clothing that is in this type of condition should be priced cheaper. I wanted to pick up kids clothes to donate to school for the nurses office, but I can get Cat and Jack cheaper on...
