Until today I've always enjoyed shopping at this location because it's always clean (excluding the shoe dept.) and very friendly service. Today I was wearing a polo-shirt with a small Thin Blue Line Flag on it in support for law enforcement and Fallen Officers. I waited as the quad of cashiers were busy as a female cashier at #2 had completed helping a customer, cleaned the counter and looked up at me. Instead of asking for me to step up she looked at my shirt, then at me and back at my shirt then suddenly became busy with moving around a box and a couple of items as she kept looking at my direction. Obviously she was waiting for another cashier to be free to help us. She then pretended to talk on the phone and when a customer sounded off the exit alarm she jumped at the chance to help them. She returned and continued to look busy when another customer asked out loud if she was free. This continued until a very friendly cashier assisted us. She then immediately called up another customer while steering right at me and sarcastically asked, "How's your day", just to let me know she purposely avoided me and made me wait. This surprised me because employees at the Riverbank location are usually very helpful and friendly. I called the on duty manager who said of course, "I'll talk to her and will ask her not to do it again". If the tables were turned this would be handled quite differently from management. So if you're a supporter of law enforcement then I would avoid this locating, they obviously are not and they condone this...

Since it had been more than 30 minutes I couldn't cancel online. I called and The kohls rep said to refuse the FedEx delivery when it came as that was the fastest way to get refunded. I did that about a week later. 10 days later I called Kohl's as I had not been refunded and they said I had to wait another 7 to 10 days for them to confirm the item was in received back. 10 days later still no word from Kohl's or refund, I called them again and they said the same thing I had to wait another 7 to 10 days that they had the item but they were processing my return. 10 days later I called the corporate office to be told they had an issue with the refund and she had to put in a special ticket request and was sure I would get my refund within 10 days. Today I called the corporate office of Kohls to be told that my refund was delayed as Kohl's had not been refunded by the vendor they bought the tube from! I was shocked as I didn't realize if you order on Kohl's.com your return is based on Kohl's getting paid back before you get your money.....wth?? I called back again today and now I'm being told they actually issued me a refund October 2 and they can't seem to track that refund so they need a few more days. It's been 60 days now still no refund! Do not order...

But, honestly, I am not a fan. In fact, I hate shopping here or at any Kohl's. It always takes forever to check out with your purchases. The five times I have been here, I have only completed two purchases before giving up waiting. NEVER come here in a hurry. Their discounts and sales seem a little sketchy. By this I mean I feel like the prices are increased and the sales are regular prices. This may be totally untrue, just my imagination.
Regular shoppers always have coupons. This may explain how they really give discounts. Non regular shoppers don't have this advantage. They don't offer anything to make me a regular shopper.
In writing this review, I recall one time shopping for bras and found the undercover people who prevent theft as being so obvious it made me uncomfortable. That was probably ten years ago and hopefully they just use cameras now. So, in case anyone from Kohl's is reading this and wonder why I spent so much time in the bra section, it wasn't theft.
