I've had bad and good experiencies at this particular store. My bad experience happend when I was trying to buy an over the range microwave. First, nobody was there at the appliance department. I waited for about 10 min and nobody showed up, then I tried to get help from a couple of other employees, but they say they didn't work in that department, so the only thing they could do was to call for the department employee which they did. after been waiting for 20 or 25 minutes and nobody showed up, I decided to call customer service and explained the situation. They again tried to get somebody there, but no luck. I called back customer service and ask to speak with the manager but the manage was busy. Finally, after 30 min an employee shows up. I made the coment about being waiting for 30 min and his answer was "no impossible I just left 10 min ago to help lumber department because they don't have a forklift driver and I am the only one certified". I couldn't believe his attitude. After been waiting for that long and been talking to other employees, call customer service, been waiting on the phone, seen other customers leave the area due to no service, you are telling me that it was only 10 min, really? I calmed down the told the guy. OK, "I would like to buy and over the range microwave like this" he replies "oh no we can't sell you that one, It is only for display" I replied, I didn't mean the one on display, but one like it from the warehouse. He replied "we don't have them in stock" Wow, at this point I was so disappointed that I just told him thanks for wasting 40 min of min of my time for nothing. In my way out, I called the home depot national customer service and explained my experience and they actually were concern and follow up with my complaint. Other experiences have been good. I gave...

She's a star all by herself because of her amazing attitude, awesome customer service, and friendly smile. Thank you for all you do for us contractors ma'am. You always greet me with a smile when I choose to come there. God Bless you. You make my day better after dealing with the jerks in your store.
The people of the paint dept and lumber dept are horrible. Let me rephrase that. The people who work the morning shifts are amazing. The people who work the afternoon / evening shift are horrible!!
They don't even offer any assistance at all in the lumber dept.! They're too busy hanging out and talking to each other. Plenty of times they are arguing with each other and saying stuff they shouldn't be when people are spending money here and sometimes with there kids. They're only worried about bickering and arguing with each other than helping customers. They never even offer a hand. You always have to hunt them down. Home Depot, you either need to be paying them more so they do a better customer service job or fire them because they're over paid.
The paint people in the evening are also just lazy. Don't even know what their product is or what to tell customers. I even saw so many employees walking around and avoiding customers because they don't want to be confronted by a customer. They're either scared because they slept thru the learning videos and don't know anything about the product on the isles or they hate DOING THEIR JOB!
I should go to...
Read moreMy review is on the soil. The soil I got was INFESTED with gnats/larva! It was not the normal oh a couple gnats spray with soap and water and they die the next day. It spread extremely fast to my other bigger plants and within a week I had gnats ALL OVER my apartment. I had to spend more money on neem oil spray trying to kill them so my plants wouldn't die. The next morning my floor and walls were covered with hundreds of thousands of gnats ( I am not exaggerating my white walls literally turned black from all the bugs I regret not taking pictures but I was so freaked out and couldn't stop scratching my head feeling so disgusted that there was all these bugs in my apartment) - trying to escape their death leaving the soil. I spent 30 minutes trying to vacuum them up. I didn't have money to buy all the soil I'd need for my plants to repot so because I just spent $50 bucks on soil here (home Depot). I had to uproot them and put them in buckets and get rid of the dirt. They were not small plants and expensive and they died. This store cost me over $160 in my plants dying, soil wasted and other means to try fix the problem. I am obviously intentional with my plants and it's extremely disappointing working hard to grow my plants so big for years and having this happen. This experience felt like a horrible experience with bedbugs or something it was disgusting and so time consuming. I will never purchased anything plant related from this...
