I joined Crunch when it initially opened about three months ago. I have been a member at multiple gyms over several decades and I was impressed. It was new, clean and the vibe was very positive. Staff was friendly and mostly helpful. A big selection of both free weights and equipment plus a promise of multiple classes tailored to many different tastes. I have become somewhat disappointed over the past ninety days, especially the last couple weeks. Increasingly to me itās apparent the majority of the staff is primarily concerned about selling more memberships and not much else. Itās still a great place to lift. Iām there several times a week but Iāve noticed multiple pieces of equipment broken and unusable. This equipment remains unusable for weeks. When I question the staff about repairs no one seems to know, or care. I never get the same answer. There are multiple pieces of equipment as I write this that are not usable. In the mens locker room, the sauna does not work and hasnāt for about a week. No one seems to know what the problem is or when it will be fixed. Today the mens locker room was very dirty. The urinals needed cleaning, the floor needed to be swept and the trash was over flowing. I said something to the front staff personnel when I arrived. Nothing was done. I said something again as I left, two hours after I had originally spoken to the front staff. There were at least eight staff members standing around speaking to each other. It just looked bad to me. No one was busy but no one seemed interested in stepping up to clean the locker room. The promise of multiple cardiovascular classes designed to fit a variety of interests has also fallen short in my opinion. The layout of the menās locker room is very poorly designed. The shower area is very bad. No shelf, no place to put anything, no where to change. The benches by the lockers are small and poorly placed and way too small. Iāve met a couple of great staff members including Josh and Kevin who are helpful, friendly and professional. Overall still a decent gym but I see cracks developing only after three months that if left unchecked will develop into huge problems in the future. Update: over a week later the mens sauna is still broken and theres a leak coming from the ceiling which drips on you when you are on the leg press machine. One piece of equipment has been fixed the others remain unusable. This place seems to be falling apart before my eyes.š³. I find it interesting how the majority of five star reviews get a response from the owner but a somewhat negative review goes unacknowledged. They are happy when you have no concerns but silent when they fall...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've had a fantastic experience at Crunch Fitness, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking to revitalize their fitness routine. The gym offers a diverse range of equipment and classes that cater to all fitness levels and preferences.
One of the aspects I appreciate most is the accessibility of personal training and guidance. As someone who previously felt a bit lost with gym equipment, the 20-minute fitness assessment and personalized workout. The trainers are supportive and knowledgeable, making it easy to gain confidence and ensure you're working towards your personal goals effectively
Crunch Fitness truly has thought of everything, especially for those new to working out. The Power Half Hour circuit training section, with its orange machines, provides a straightforward way to get a full-body workout. Beyond that, the gym is well-equipped with everything from jumping blocks and indoor turf to Olympic-grade weight training equipment and dumbbells in precise increments, allowing for truly tailored workouts.
The variety of classes is another major plus. For busy individuals, the availability of 30-minute and 45-minute classes, like Barre Bootcamp, is a game-changer, ensuring you can always fit in a quality workout, even on a tight schedule.
Finally, the "cherries on top" amenities, such as the HydroMassage, are a wonderful addition for self-care and recovery. While some, like the HydroMassage and tanning beds, require a Peak Plus membership, they are definitely worth it for the added relaxation...
