My Daughter and I came up to visit Hennys and JT Stitchery last Saturday, and both yarn shops were closed for the Holiday weekend. Coming from south of Kalamazoo, we both checked Facebook, email messages, and Instagram with no notice the Caledonia or Rockford shops would be closed before we left. I also called and both stores left no messages of closure. I can no longer trust google either, because BOTH shops were supposed to be OPEN........😕 Even Plainwell Ice Cream was closed until 2pm. Going south to our 🏡 home - that was too late. Very cozy yet bright and not claustrophobic like some yarn shops can be. The ladies at the store were very friendly and engaging. There was a nice variety of yarn weights and fiber types. I suspect they've been having shipping issues - who hasn't right now?! - because their color selection seemed a bit slim. They've recently changed owners so that may have something to do with this.
