Parking lot is FULL of HUGE POTHOLES. It's diabolical how bad the road conditions are in this parking lot and never fixed for 5+ years. Potholes are literally 5" deep and 3+ feet long, on the main roadway. When you try to avoid, you will likely hit another small and deep pothole. Unfortunately cannot avoid them if another car is on the other side. I've gotten so many scratches and tire damage because of these potholes that are in unavoidable common areas. It's so bad when it rains because you can't see how deep/big they are. NO PAINT MARKS/ARROWS at all for entering/existing/turning. Because there are so many potholes and no markings, drivers are zigzagging, crossing sides, and cutting through the parking lot, and disregarding right of way. Cars come flying down the hill and go diagonal to TJMaxx, I always have to check my blind spot if a car behind me suddenly changes route, cuts the line, ends up driving next to me when we're going to the same store. Especially the deep potholes everywhere at the corner area trying to get to Staples and TJMaxx, and in the middle of that lot. 1 cone on 1 big pothole on the main roadway is not enough. This plaza is so busy, these potholes have caused so much damage and is dangerous with people zigzagging. They need to...
Read moreHarbor Plaza is in a decent location on US Rte 1 (Camden Street) with a good selection of shops, the most popular of which are Shaw's market and TJ Maxx. Just one problem: the parking lot.
The 'plaza' is basically L-shaped, with TJ Maxx at the elbow. Thus, the deepest part of their lot is usually the most congested — cars looking for spots and pedestrians going to & from the stores.
So, in that area cars will be coming at you from all directions. This can be especially nerve wracking when you're parking or pulling away from your spot. In other words, stay sharp & keep your eyes open!
Frankly, this parking lot — and the plaza's layout, generally — is a bit of a maze. Worse, there are no useful signs or road markings to help direct inbound & outbound car traffic, not even to/from Rte 1.
Don't be surprised if you get a bit frustrated before even...
