Given this place 3 tries. 2023 in September got 2 combo platters, hard to find one without chicken tenders(?) It wasn't great. A friend suggested it was better if you ordered by carton. 2nd time (July or August 2024), we got a chicken entree, 2 apps and paid upcharge for pork fried rice. Total was about $33.00

A 30 minute drive home to find my rice was up charged, but not upgraded. I called, wasn't driving an hour roundtrip for fried rice. The man said I could come and get fried rice....I forgot, don't eat out that much, let it go.

3rd visit was today, picked up around 3:45. We ordered the house special chow mein and Szechuan chicken, no salt or msg, extra spicy. The large cartons can feed 2-4 so crunchy noodles for chow mein should at least be enough for 3, but there may have been half cup, more likely 1/4 cup of noodle.

The chicken Szechuan had what tasted like leftover, over cooked, (not steamed), broccoli. As there is more broccoli than anything in the dish, it wasn't pleasant and thoughts of how old the food was entered my head, so I didn't eat it. It was about $14.95 for the single carton menu item. Spice was good in both dishes; my husband rated the chow ok, but lots missing on the mein.

On the counter at restaurant is a basket of fried wonton, and I added $1 bag to my order. Total of order for 2 apps, the 2 dishes (no rice with chow mein) and $1 fried wontons was over $51. Opened the bag at home and wontons were fortune cookies. The apps were fried, oil wasn't rancid,so they were ok. It's 30 minutes 1 way, so unless I was over charged, I won't be complaining again, just doing a review, (double check your orders) and not going back again. The food is too expensive, not good quality and 3 tries are enough. Pictured are some of both dishes, no crunchy noodles to show. I didn't think about photos at dinnertime and the apps were eaten as they were better than the...

I can't recall if I left a review for this place last year, but since we are looking forward to returning to Rockland again for New Years, I was reminiscing on their food and thought I would give them a shoutout.

They have some of the best pork lo mein I've ever tasted. I ate it right out of the container in my hotel room and it was one of life's simple joys which I look very much forward to reliving.

Their service was pretty decent for NYE, with a lot of people ordering and waiting for food they moved through the line proficiently and professionally. It'll probably be a little tougher for them this year as we are seeing issues with staffing affect almost every restaurant, but I really can't express how much these guys really hit it out of the park for us last year. The food was fresh, hot,...

We showed up with a party of 6 adults and 7 children. The waitress was very accommodating. She was quick and attentive. Our orders were taken and quickly and accurately served. The food was hot and pleasingly presented. Our drinks were kept filled and empty plates quickly removed.

The food your typical American Chinese quisine. The fried food was not greasy and the fried rice was moist and cooked well. It was satisfying and I would be happy to eat here again.

The restaurant is clean and had plenty of seating. The decorations are tasteful and placed purposely. I've been to other establishments and wonder if any effort or thought went into decor.

Overall, I was very happy with my experience here. Stop in if you have a craving and you won't be...

I really had high hopes for this place. Other restaurants in the area had reviews that warned of undercooked food but I hadn’t seen any for this place. I ordered the “specialty” General Tso’s Chicken and upon cutting into it found that 70% of the chicken I got was raw. I got take out so I can just microwave it to safety but still that’s not ideal. The sauce is incredible on the pieces that are cooked, and My dad had luck with the mushu shrimp but I’m just disappointed. I don’t recommend getting takeout. I have included a photo of the range of colors my chicken came in tonight. I hope someone at the restaurant sees this because it is unacceptable.

Ordered take out while staying in the area. Despite a little bit of a struggle to find a menu online (no website), I was able to find some 7 year old blurry pictures of the menu on here from other reviewers. Luckily the menu hadn't really changed except for the prices! Overall, excellent food and experience ordering/picking up. We got 4 dinner specials and all were great. Good portions, and food tasted "fresh" as opposed to something from a bulk batch made hours prior. Would definitely recommend visiting if you're in the mood for some good Chinese food! I've uploaded some pictures of the current menu/pricing to hopefully help others.
