Although it was a fun experience, I am very disappointed in my experience. The room that we challenged was not reset properly, so we went into the room already at a loss and not being able to figure it out, due to the staff not making sure that all the clues were rest and accessible. We were told upon arrival and before entering the room, that if it was not easily accessible, to not try and force something open or touch and with that being said part of one of the clues was knocked down, which made us to not be able to figure clues out and be able to beat the room as the clue that was knocked down was in a cabinet, that did not open. We were also given inaccurate hint information when we called for a hint. With that being said, when our time was up and staff came in and asked if we wanted them to tell us the solution, we said yes and when we informed them that part of the clue was knocked down after they told us about it, they did not apologize for the inconvenience or offer us anything and I feel that after spending $130 at this establishment for a great experience and not getting that, in which I verbally expressed to them I was not happy about the fact that the room was not rest properly, that the staff should be sympathetic in which they were not. I did inform staff that after this experience and there was no effort to fix the mistake they had made, I will not be returning to this establishment to spend my money with no guarantee that my next escape room would be reset...
Read moreOverall: Great themes and puzzles; recommend for beginners
Took a group of my friends to this location for the 221B Baker St puzzle. The theme and atmosphere were great and the hint system was creative. Compared to the other puzzle rooms in Sacramento, I'd say this is one was probably the easiest I've completed so far and this room was the hardest at this location. Don't let that deter you though! If you're new to puzzle rooms, this is a great place to start. The staff was friendly and the location is a decent size. The room was also a fairly good size as well (we had a group of 8 and we were still fairly mobile). Would definitely recommend to my friends who haven't done a puzzle room before (we had 4 in our group who hadn't done one before and they had...
Read moreGreat Experience! We did the Chasm. One of their newest rooms. We got a private room that cost us about $300 I think that was a little pricey because of the fact that it had very small rooms. We had 6 people and it was a little challenging for us to see all of the challeges(we still escaped) just because of the fact that it was kind of tight. I would also say u need at least 4 people to do this room. I have to give it to the imagination of the designers. They really did a great job sticking with the theme and the whole experience was a blast, besides a slight inconvenience of lamps that didn't stay lit which made it challenging toward the end because of how dark it was it was hard to see. But we will be back when the...
