Kitchen Mart — Local services in Rocklin

After using various contractors in all the different homes we've purchased (11 and counting), Kitchen Mart was by far the easiest and the best quality / value we've encountered. From the design work and its many iterations they helped us with to the individual workers who were polite, thoughtful and paid attention to details, it was an overall great experience. The value for the cost was high and worth the investment. We're very happy with our kitchen! There were many individuals who went above and beyond and their names are hard to remember but not their work or impressions they left us with. Cathy in the design and coaching thru colors and function was a godsend... Don and his crew who did most of the actual kitchen work really stood out as customer caring and follow through. Everyone we met through Kitchen Mart was helpful and listened. The jobsite was as clean as we could expect throughout the demo and work to reface, add doors and appliances etc. If you want a quality result and work with someone who can help you throughout the project to get what you want, we would highly recommend Kitchen Mart. After signing a contract for some kitchen counter work they did not meet two of the intermediate communication timelines in the document they provide called "What happens now? Scheduling You Project". They acknowledge that this was the case. I had lost confidence in their ability to do the project on time and to communicate clearly and asked to cancel the project and for my deposit to be returned. Despite no materials being ordered for our project which is at least 8 weeks out Marcus Rosenthal of Kitchen Mart refuses to return our deposit stating "With respect to your deposit, we will be unable to remit your deposit. As I’ve shared, monies have been distributed to pay overhead, rent, administrative costs, commission, etc." A ridiculous and horrible example of customer relations. I do NOT recommend. In May of 2023 Kitchen Mart built and installed a 7 ft long dual sink vanity with a quarts counter top. We can not say enough great things about Kitchen Marts staff and service. From their walk in counter customer service to their installers. Absolutely first class. Polite, friendly, helpful, courteous, respectful of us, our home and property. Kitchen Mart helped design, then built and installed a complete kitchen for us in 2013. We have a very robust family and the cabinets look as great now as they did when first installed We have more work planned for them and I recommend Kitchen Mart to all who ask, including family and friends. We inter acted with staff at both business sites and were met with equally friendly, polite and helpful people.
