Very horrible experience. Went in looking for a blanket . Asked an employee ( sooo nice ) she then tells me she will go get them for me . Next thing is i hear All the employees in the back saying how and why she told me the blankets were there . Those blankets were claimed for by employees. If i wanted To get a blanket that i had To apply and work At Burlington. I was with my kids and was listening to them Argue and go back and forth for like 5 mins . Alll while the MANAGER was in the back with them listening to all of this . They had a friend go and wait for the blankets so she would purchase them for the employees. The nice employee then comes back with a different blanket ( Disney ) one and says I’m So sorry but this is the only one i can Give you . Another employee comes out of the back and i let her know i had Listened to everything they had said .. her face dropped . I asked Her what the managers name was and was so hesitant to give me his name . “( DREW ) “ He then comes out and i proceed to tell him i was Standing right by the back room and had heard all of the conversations . Proceeds to lie and try and show me a text msg about how they were talking about a girl who needs to apply .😂 I let Him know i stood There for 5 mins listening and will be contacting corporate. Never have i been To a store where I’m being told i had To work at so called store to be able to purchase items . Called corporate and filed a ticket claim about the incident. Read more1 Star Review Terrible First Impression at Burlington Rockwall
I’m someone who leaves honest bad reviews when bad service deserves it and Burlington in Rockwall absolutely earned this one.
I came in on a Tuesday around 8 PM and was shocked by how rude and unprofessional the manager on duty was (Hispanic woman, unfortunately didn’t catch her name). She had a terrible attitude, zero customer service skills, and made it very clear that helping customers was not her priority.
They closed the fitting rooms at 7 PM, claiming it was due to being short-staffed. Let’s be real that’s a management issue, not a customer problem. I politely asked if she could make an exception so my mom could try on some clothes for an upcoming trip. We promised to be quick and clean, and not leave a mess.
Her response? “I’m not opening the fitting rooms for you.” Just like that. No compassion, no problem-solving just attitude. She even said, “It’s not my decision, it’s upper management.” So who’s really running the store?
I explained again calmly and respectfully that we wouldn’t leave a mess. She still refused and acted like we were inconveniencing her. She told us to buy the clothes, and return them if they don’t fit. Are you serious? Who’s paying for my gas, time, and effort?
This was my first impression of this Burlington location and it will be my last. If this is how management treats customers with attitude and no flexibility then I can see why they’re understaffed.
Avoid this store if you expect even the bare minimum of customer service. Absolutely...
Read moreLove this place! It’s smaller than other Burlingtons I have gone but then again the ones that are bigger are an old style Burlington (old style smell). I tend to ask the employees if something is in the back if not on the floor and I have never had a problem with them helping me out, I love that they are not rude about it either which I thank you for that. Overall like that it’s always organized and clean. Easy check out as well and the line never loops around the store. Would recommend!! Also thanks to the gentleman that helped me find my daughter most wanted...
