Have a contract already and when my two phones went bad I used my insurance to get new phones for my wife and I. They didn't have a replacement phone so we waited. A month went by so we called again to see if there were replacements again they said no. We just had a baby so my wife needed a working phone and I needed a new phone due to the phone rebooting everyday 5 or 6 times aday. They gave us the option to get new phones and send in the bad phones and get a check to buy new phones and give them the money for the new phones when we got our checks. Well got the new phones my wife went with a cheaper phone I went with a little more expensive no big deal. I was told my check would pay off the remaining balance to my old phone and what is left will pay some of the cost to the new phone. Never was I asked to use my upgrade and I got a $400+ extra cost on my phone bill. The less than educated phone sales rep sold me two new phones while telling me it would be credited when you get the insurance check. We'll its been 1 full month still haven't got my check and now I have 4 lines I'm paying for and 4 phones I'm paying for. I had to call customer support specialist to get all this fixed. Now I have to give back my new phone and start all over again. The talent at the Greenville Blvd store is lacking by leaps and bounds. After this I will not be renewing my contract with US cellular. And the cell service sucks always dropping calls. Us cellular is a waste of money if you use them. While on the phone with customer service I kept losing signal....
Read moreGot a new phone and the employee who assisted me offered me a "promotion" of free accessories if they added up to $100 at least. I told her I didn't need any accessories. She insisted on them being free with my purchase and new plan. We'll, couple months later I see my bill and SURPRISE I'm paying for the accessories after I asked MULTIPLE times if I was going to be charged afterwards and she said no everytime I asked. She also added a protection plan I did not ask for and none of this was listed on the receipt she handed me the day of. Called US Cellular customer service and they said I couldn't get a refund and would have to go back to the store. Read moreVery disappointed with the service at the Rocky Mount US Cellular store. I had a preorder that was completely mishandled and ended up being canceled. The representative was unable to answer a single question and simply told me to “call the 1-800 number” without much reasoning. I only found out the order was cancelled after calling the 1-800 number. I expected more knowledge and professionalism. Thankfully, when I did call the 1-800 line, they were able to fix the mistake and overnight a replacement order.
