La Chic Boutique — Local services in Rocky River

I needed a semi-formal/formal gown for my all-company reception. I didn’t strike my usual luck at Nordstrom Rack, and I was under a time crunch, so I decided to visit the cute little boutique I had driven by countless times and had always wondered about.

There happened to be a snowstorm at the time, and normally Abby would have left early to beat the traffic and weather. Instead, she was extremely gracious in staying AND she helped me select and try on at least 20 gowns to no avail. (I’m sure we both wish I were exaggerating, but alas…) Then, in a last ditch effort, Abby pulled out a gown that I hadn’t even considered and that she had never even seen before, so we said “What the heck. Maybe it’ll be the one.” I put it on and we both said “Oh my God! This is actually it!”

If you can’t already tell, my experience with Abby was amazing, and I so appreciated her kindness and patience with me in my quest for the perfect dress. I was also so grateful for her excellent tailor recommendation, especially given that I was in a bit of a time crunch and I don’t always like to do my own seamstress work.

The selection at La Chic Boutique is amazing and there is sure to be something for anyone and everyone no matter the occasion. I’ll absolutely be back for any formalwear occasions in the future, and I can’t recommend both Abby and La Chic...

If you are looking for a special occasion dress … wedding, prom, cocktail party, etc…,this is the place to go. The owner went above and beyond to assist me with finding everything that I needed. The end result was amazing compliments I received on all the items the owner Lisa helped me select.

This was my first stop in my quest to find a mother-of-the-groom wedding dress. I found the dress I loved immediately, and at a reasonable price. As women must do, I went hunting many other places. Only to find: appointments required; terrible selections or no selections; gaudy over-beaded, overdone selections only; staff that we’re not interested in assisting; etc. Same went for the jewelry and shoe hunting. I ended up coming back to La Chic Boutique to purchase dress for wedding, rehearsal dinner dress and jewelry. Big stores did not have inventory, yet I found the perfect items at this small local business. Note, I did not use the individual they recommended for fitting and was not 100% satisfied with...

I was searching for an affordable, non traditional wedding dress….specifically a two piece. I bought a couple of dresses from Amazon, Lulu’s ect….and was disappointed in the quality. I walked into La Chic Boutique and instantly saw the dress. I didn’t even look at the size to be honest, I knew it was me and I needed to try it on. I walked out to the mirror, saw myself and started crying my eyes out, It was a surreal feeling. Unfortunately I didn’t have anyone with me to support me or share that moment with but the sales associate was absolutely wonderful and made me feel special…put a veil on me, took pictures to capture the beautiful moment…I can’t express how much I appreciated it.
