We ordered a bathtub, tile, shower controls and a shower head and had them delivered to our home. I gave specific notes on where the bathtub needed to be dropped so it wouldn't be stolen, and I had that I had to sign for it. It was supposed to be delivered on a Monday. I also paid extra to pick my 4-hour waiting window. They were a no show. I was so disappointed. I took time off work to be there waiting. NO SHOW! I called 15 minutes after the 4-hour window and they said that they messed up and it wasn't on the way. They rescheduled with me for another 4-hour window on Wednesday. I confirmed all my notes would carry over, that it would be signed for, and the 4 hour window... again. They showed up spontaneously on Tuesday, the next day, not Wednesday. They tipped the bathtub upright and literally walked it on it's corners up my driveway. No one was there to sign for it. They left it in the wrong spot, and it was damaged. What gives??? Terrible service. When I got home from work, I found the damage and called right away. They scheduled for another one to be brought out on Friday. You'll never believe what happened... Frida,y they showed up, I caught them on my Ring camera and told them to please read the notes on the work order. I asked the guy to please carry the bathtub to the side of the house. I told him that's where he would find the damaged tub for him to pick up and take. He said Okay. Then walked directly to his truck and drove away. He literally left the big bathtub in the box on my front lawn and didn't bother to tkae the damaged one from the side yard!!! What in the world? I don't think the guy spoke a word of English. Not a word! I called the store and they promptly sent someone out to move the bathtub off my front lawn and to the side yard and to pick up the damaged tub they brought prior.
The warehouse is broken. The people they are hiring are not good at their job. They're not even average. They're BAD at their job. They don't give a crap. Not a care! The communication between the store and the warehouse is ridiculous. It's like the warehouse doesn't care about good service, communication, or quality. I'm 100% over HD and moving to a competitor. And that sucks because I've been a HD guy for 20 years! I'm done. Honestly. Home Depot sucks now. What happened?
Mike was great to work with at the store. Sophie was great at helping when I was frustrated, and she did her best to take care of me. She worked hard to be accommodating and easy to work with. A previous request for assistance,fell on deaf ears, except for other customers needing simpler help, I guess. Help requiring less physical work 26minutes from shift's.
They couldn't have known of my predicament or likely the cause, or even cared....just another day filled with these types of people, customers waiting to disturb them at the end of a business day, looking for one specific item.
They didn't know I was driving miles to be there, almost on chance alone; on my way to pick up my kids in nearby Santa Rosa, running slightly late due to traffic. But that was just enough time to check about an item I only knew 63mins I needed.... Until....
Until.... checking online for this location I discovered their lie.... about having one Ryobi left, so veered off the freeway, and was inside Rohnert Park Home Depot, on Aisles 20, doing my best to locate this tool.
Their lie was about only having one, they had 2 of these in stock. Both, unfort, a mere 5 feet away from the tips of my fingers, desperately air-grasping in their direction. Damn. So close, and so far away. And since other customers were enjoying service from the one employee able to be my hero, in the final moment had had reserved for this chase of wild geese, and no ladder could possibly reach me in time to spare my kids the horrors and embarrassment of dad being a couple minutes late. The preservation of their safety space in our modern society trumps all other concerns, especially when ex's convenience is at stake.

I think that Home Depot needs to drop their prices on most of their items like the flower department they need to drop their prices they're charging way too much for annuals or perennials or anytime flower for that matter the bags of cement you know I went and purchased three bags of cement they were broken the last time I was at that Home Depot they gave them to me for free this time they charged me 10% off of the sales price that the price already was so I feel like I was treated unfairly you know and their prices are ridiculously stupid so I'm going to take a picture and show you what I bought and then show you and tell you the amount that I paid all together for the flowers and the cement well apparently I can't take a picture a recent picture because it wants to go to my gallery and I got private pictures in my gallery that I'd rather not want to share this is one thing bad about this app here is yeah I'm sure and helping you with directions but when it when we want to take a picture of right then and there a photograph of fresh photograph you can't that's the only downfall about this site they want me to take pictures turn off go to my photos or the my camera and then shoot to take a picture and then try to get back on this side again which is hard to do because it pops up where I've been in my truck or where I've been in my car or I will where I've been with my friends I can't take it so I can take a picture yes but when it pops up I can try to go back to what this review is about I'm going to try that's all I can say it...
