Let me set the scene. I pulled into the gas station on the edge of town, low on fuel and expectations. I was road-weary, spiritually hollow, and vaguely craving something fried. I expected beef jerky and regret. What I got was transcendence. Behind a nondescript door near the windshield-washer fluid display, I discovered Vinoma Tapas. An Argentine tapas restaurant with only outdoor seating, nestled just beyond pump #3 at a random gas station you’d drive past a hundred times—unless you knew. There’s no dining room. No walls. Just a patio surrounded by green grass, tables, and the slow sizzle of something life-changing on the grill. They serve up a flower with every meal. Vinoma Tapas is more than a restaurant. It's a story you’ll tell your friends. It’s proof that some of the best meals in life don’t come with a reservation or a dress code — they come with empanadas and a side of motor oil in the background.

Come for the gas. Stay for the provoleta. Leave with faith in...

Just found a legit spot to get Argentina Empanades .... and yep..... its butted up to a Shell Happy find as we were running errands and wanted a quick bite.

Vinoma is a super small spot as its part of the shell gas station. Its a take and go or eat-on-the-fly-kinda stop. You can preorder off the website and or wait for them to bake it off like we did. They were so good we ended up ordering some frozen to take home and bake later while we were filling up.

Featured here are the Creamy Corn, Traditional Beef, Steak and Ham. Small little bites of goodness. They even stamp them so you know which is which. Disclaimer, They also have a bacon plum and cheese artichoke that didn't make the picture because ...thry were already in da belly.

When I heard that you could get seriously good empanadas at a rando gas station in Rohnert Park, I laughed - you got to be kidding me. Well, I stand corrected - the hype about Vinoma Tapas Argentinas is real...these are seriously good empanadas. When I received the box of empanadas, I thought "okay, these are tiny", but DANG these are frickin' good. The crust is light and flaky, the fillings are delightful, and the service is fantastic. Because the interior restaurant is closed, everything must be taken to go. You can order the empanadas online so they're ready when you arrive, or if you happen to arrive there without ordering, there is someone who will open the door and take the order for you - it only takes about 15 minutes for them to heat up the empanadas so they're ready to eat.
