isn't a farmers market about selling food, what i saw was just a bunch of crafts people... when i lived in Eugene the farmers market is whole foods fresh produce etc not a bunch of crafts people selling expensive stuff no one needs that is what Saturday market is about i feel the two should be separated on the advert for the market they claim well over 40 different farms contribute but all i saw was 2 and they did not have anything except over grown squash etc no potatoes no winter crops, not what i expected i know farmers grow food in the winter too such as winter crops such as broccoli and greens etc but i could not find any at all just a few people selling the honey they stole from the bees of whom they exploit, who needs that on a vegan diet?? in the dead of winter i sure hope summer has a better choice but by then my gardens will be exploding with food hopefully they will have fresh food for those who can't garden or grow their...
Read moreThis Farmer's Market has some nice produce and a good variety. We had fun there. However, we bought 3 things at the Bakery with the "huge" Cinnamon rolls for a total of $19 dollars - and we were very disappointed! The Cinnamon roll, large loaf of sourdough bread, and the cookies all looked wonderful. However, when we got them home we found they were very dry like they were days or more old. BTW - the "Blue Nile Hummus" is wonderful...
Read moreIt's very small but nice. They had everything you would expect for the most part for a small venue. They had some artisan crafted foods, soaps etc..and crafts. I would not consider this an actual farmers market, nothing is sold in bulk or by the case. Really expensive in comparison to actual farmers markets I have visited in the past. I would consider this more a hobby farmers and crafts. They also had a band. They had a fair selection of fruits and vegetables and starter garden plants in very small portions.. You should try it it's a nice quick outing on a...
