So when I get there the woman behind the front desk almost tells me I need to wash my hands before my service. Weird. Because I'm get a pedicure but rules is rules I came in with the intention to do some work while I got my pedicure so I had my huge water bottle, my laptop and my purse. So I need a place to put my things down while washing my hands. The woman that told me to wash my hands then gose to the back to speak to the person that did my nails and all I can say is maybe she had a long day, maybe they weren't even talking about the service or me or whatever who knows. After waiting for the receptionist and the nail tech to finish talking the receptionist picks a spot that has not table for me to put anything on but there was a free chair( it wasn't super busy) and I put my stuff there. Never in my life have I been to a nail salon that doesn't have massage chairs. But stil no big deal. Right? I didn't come there for a massage I came to get the dead skin off my feet. So I thought I was a a genius and did a foot peal mask and would get a pedicure to remove the excess dry skin with a pedicure after a few days. I came here and I was jus not satisfied with the results. The nail tech said that the skin would regenerate or something. The whole reason why I came was to get the dry dead skin removed off my feet and if I had known they couldn't or wouldn't do that I wouldn't have even came in I informed the person on the phone before coming (Ausumming thus person was not a nail tech or just didn' know) and she didn't say it would be a problem. I'm unhappy with the results and just not being told they wouldn't fully exfoliate my feet. The nail tech did suggest I buy their lotion... lol. This isn't normal for me I did I foot peel and thought that after waiting I would be able to get a pedicure to remove the skin from my feet. BUT! The place was clean and looked very nice. Edit I called ahead of time to make sure that they would be able to help get this skin off my feet I explained that I did a peel and was told it would be no problem. I understand what your saying and I makes sense but don't tell me you can provide a service if it's not possible. I can ve told no I understand why it wasn't possible after being told. But I was told this by you and after my pedicure was done. I should have been told when I called ahead before getting...
Read moreThey should not be advertising that they literally have a "just for kid's pedicure" then make absolutely no accommodation for a kid, even something as easy as an extra pillow so they can sit comfortably in their big office chairs they use for a pedicure station. Igave her my back support pillow she was so uncomfortable, would also think that's an obvious gesture, but they didnt offer me another one either. They dip the kids feet in water then paint them, less than 10 min total. Just awful and so disappointing.
The appointments were booked 5 days in advanced, for midday during the week, and they didn't put the appointments together or call to say that they were back to back when its literally an adult and kid pedicure.. how would you even assume anything but together when its being booked for literally the SAME TIME slot, and they make you enter the age (5) of the guest.. obviously no one would want her to sit there for an hr doing nothing when we are going to get pedicures together.. i felt so bad for her i downgraded mine to speed things along. Just Very inconsiderate.
The receptionist had a major attitude/chip on her shoulder and literally just assumed i didnt want any of my $30 change when i paid and was very pushy about asking numerous times how much i was giving the nail tech. Maybe dont be so demeaning to the customer, especially since most people, especially older than her, understand tipping for actual services.
Was going to just chalk this part up to "not my style" but such a let down overall experience, worth noting for others looking for a good pedicure- that they dont use pedicure stations. Im sure they saved a ton of money this way but its just a big rolling chair with a large ceramic sink/bowl on the floor. No jets no nothing to it, and obviously ceramic gets very cold, therefore the water did not hold temperature and also got cold quickly and frequently. The nail tech was nice overall, didnt say much but that's neither here nor there. Such a disappointment overall and waste of moeny. Source of stress and letdown instead of fun...
Read moreI never write reviews. However, my groups experience here was so poor and unprofessional that I felt the need to. My groups of 6 went in and had planned this out with Prose months in advance to get our bridal parties nails done for my sister’s wedding. Not once did they even say congratulations let alone make it a fun or special experience. Fine. But to then have 2 of the nail techs be so rude to the point that it was uncomfortable? One of the nail techs literally told us “good luck with her” about one of the other nail techs who was genuinely so dismissive and rude. Another had her headphones in listening to an podcast the whole time.
One of us requested gold French tips…she left with ALL BLACK nails (not even tips) because the tech couldn’t do gold tips? Client had to go home and paint over the black with more black because you could see gold polish left over under only one of her hands. Worst of all was the bride’s nails. She booked a mani pedi and after THREE HOURS, the whole rest of the group was done with hands and nails, and my sister was just finishing her manicure. After 3 hours. We had a whole day planned, so my sister cancelled her pedicure and left because she was so upset and the experience was so poor. Not only were her nails crooked when leaving, her nail tech tried to make it seem like her fault for not telling her before she got there that she had gel she would need taken off and that’s why it took 3 hours to get crooked nails? She said it was gel X so she needed to know that ahead of time…it was regular gel. My sister reached out over email wanting to talk about how disappointing the experience was and never ever heard back.
This was supposed to be a celebratory day for my sister and it ended up being the worst salon experience we’ve all had. Would not...
