I am beyond frustrated with the sheer incompetence of the Tiffany & Co. store in Roseville. My boyfriend returned an item worth thousands of dollars, which he had paid for in cash. Instead of issuing a cash refund, the store insisted it be sent via check within 3–5 business days, due to company policy. Not great, but ok. He provided his current address, but the store failed to update their records and mailed the check to an address he hasn’t lived at in over 10 years.
For weeks, he called the store for updates, only to be strung along with vague assurances. Two weeks ago, they finally admitted the check had been sent to the wrong address. Since then, there has been zero progress. Today, he again called the Roseville store, Adriana (sp?), claimed they’ve been unable to contact their corporate office – for two weeks! How does a company like Tiffany & Co. operate without being able to reach their own corporate office for such an extended period?
This involves thousands of dollars, and yet the Roseville store has handled it with a shocking lack of professionalism and accountability. I’ve shopped at other Tiffany locations and never encountered anything like this. Paying in cash should not result in a month-long nightmare with no resolution in sight. The level of incompetence at this store is appalling, and Tiffany & Co. needs to take immediate action to resolve this situation and restore...
Read moreI absolutely love the store and have made a lot of purchases throughout the years. I have referred many people to make purchases and talked a big game on customer service and how pleasant the employees are. I have been to the Roseville location maybe three times, only once can I say I had a pleasant experience. The guy at the front door was really nice and welcoming today. The person that helped me seemed annoyed and irritated that she was even asked. She barely let me ask her questions regarding my issue and hurried me to the back to speak with someone regarding cleaning (he was helpful and answered my questions with no problem). She pushed the button for the bell and practically ran off. It just reminded me why I place a lot of my orders online. Sad part is I wanted to make a few purchases while I was there. That went right out the window. Automatically felt as if my family and I were not welcomed there. You can tell employees were avoiding us like a plague. It’s unfortunate. I never give public reviews, but today really disappointed...
Read moreGreat service. The ladies and gentlemen that work there are amazing and fun but the quality of the products and integrity of the of the company can be compared to sh@t. My wedding band was purchased there. After 18 months, two diamonds were lost. I was quoted $1200.00 to repair it. Mind you the ring was $6000.00 and I had had it for 18 months. My mother has had hers for 50 years and she never lost a diamond. I was so dismayed by the price that I declined Tiffany’s to replace and repair the ring. I went to another jeweler in town and was quoted 1/3 of the price for the same quality of diamonds and repairing the ring. Luckily my engagement ring was checked by my new jeweler and is in good shape. Thank goodness cause that was almost $20,000. I will never go back to Tiffany’s. I also found out the Tiffany’s is no longer the Tiffany’s we know. It was sold to some large corporation (I think Avon) and there is where the integrity was lost. I’m wondering now if I am wearing a blood diamond. Shame on...
