I was shopping with 2 toddlers and my two year old must have thrown his hat. I turned my life upside down looking for it for 2 weeks. After retracing my steps, I realized that he probably launched it out of the shopping cart while we were Aldis. My son and I were seriously bummed because the hat was a crochet Grinch (AKA "Grinchy Hat") that his grandmother gave him. I stopped into Aldis a few weeks later and not only did they have the hat, but they took such great care of it. They didnt just throw it away or stash it in a dirty back room... They had it sitting nicely on a desk locked in a room (I assume the managers office). I cant thank everyone involved enough!!!!!!!! I know this probably sounds silly but you have made...
Read moreI became an Aldi shopper fairly recently after being taken there by a family member and it is now my #1 go to shopping place for produce; breads; snacks; juices; cheesesand a lot of frozen items. They have a Mama Cozi pepperoni pizza for $2.45 that is as good as Digiorno's for 6.99. Their produce and bread prices are less than half the price of Giant Eagle's. Yes, the selection is a little limited and the store has a utilitarian appearance but the amount of money you save is more than worth it ! Most of their items are private label but taste like ( and are probably made by) name brands. No one who wants to save on their grocery bill should bypass Aldis. Just remember to bring your own totes and a quarter for the cart ( which...

Also, I don't know if it's just because they are newly reopened and don't have all their shipments, but there has routinely been a lack of dairy items and a lot of empty spots on shelves that look like they've not been cleaned off since they were installed. You could have found another excuse for bumping up prices that was better than a terrible...
