My fiancé and I purchased a pair of dress shoes from Saks Off 5th to wear in our wedding. The shoes came just days before the wedding badly damaged. I called customer service in hopes that they would be helpful in ensuring that we had a new pair of shoes for the day of the wedding that actually looked new and not damaged. Customer service was EXTREMELY unhelpful letting me know I could send the shoes back and purchase another pair myself and that if I wanted them in time for the wedding I would have to pay priority shipping myself and that would still only guarantee the shoes to be there the day of the wedding, an hour before the ceremony began (leaving no room for us to make adjustments last minute in case they arrived damaged again). Overall my experience with Saks Off 5th was a horrible one, there customer service was awful and in the end my fiancé and I ended up paying for a damaged pair of shoes that will never be worn and the stress of having to find another pair days before the wedding elsewhere.    Read moreI walk in store with an item I purchased online a week earlier with a tag attached and receipt. The online store sent me a wrong sunglasses, same brand, same style a different color. I drive from distance expecting to have an easy return. I was wrong! Two managers on duty, one from the store and other from online customer service can not help me for more than an hour with a return and a mistake someone else did. I requested the store manager to take care of that issue while I am in store and he didn’t. The manager online was difficult to understand and promised to send a return label. 30 minutes he tried to send a return label to the store manager and couldn’t . His explanation was, that he can only send an email to the client. 7 hours later I have not received any return label. If I do not receive a help from customer service I will be seeking help from a consumer protection agency or other assistance. I am sorry that...
   Read moreHorrible customer service... went to return my shoes I had for a week, and I was told to come back in the weekend when a manager returns. I came back again, asked for the manager and he was completely rude. The receipt says the shoes could be returned if "defected" I told him multiple times that there was a bump inside the one shoe that was giving me blisters and he didn't even check to see if there was anything wrong with it.
I would give them a 0 if I could. Great way to try and retain a customer. Horrible management.
