Stopped in to grab a few items, found a shirt with a yellow sticker on it for $7. Score right? No. When I went to check out an order woman (cashier: 1001) rung everything up and said the shirt wasn’t scanning but I saw it scan $7. She calls another employee (blonde hair lady) over and she took it the machine to check it. She comes back scans it and tells me my total, I didn’t see what it rung up. I look at my receipt and they charged me $9.99 and ripped half the tag off to take the yellow sticker off. I asked why it didn’t ring up $7. She said “Because it’s $2 more.” I felt very judged in the moment. It’s not about the $3 difference, it’s about the customer service and the communication. It seemed like they thought I stuck a $7 sticker on a $9.99 shirt?! Roll the tapes, that’s how it was on the rack. They could’ve just been like “Hey, this item isn’t actually on sale it’s $9.99 would you still like it?” I would’ve still said yes. I just had her return all my stuff and left. This store’s employees definitely have some improving to...
Read morethe older white woman (short and heavy set) with brownish gray hair working in the fitting rooms was VERY rude and inconvenienced by me going into the fitting room. When I was coming out of the fitting room, she was standing in front of the rack where you return items you are not getting. So, I asked her very politely if I could give my items back to her, so I wouldn’t be in her way. She immediately slams down the item she was holding on the the rack, turns around, gave me a “death-stare”, and takes my items without saying anything. She then proceeded to do the same thing to my friend as well. She was blatantly being rude for absolutely no reason. If she does not want to work customer service or have customer service skills, then she should choose a different job. This interaction was completely uncalled for and she should honestly either get fired or choose a...
Read moreMarshalls store sells off-price merchandise. During my visit, I saw women’s, men’s, and children’s clothing, shoes, and accessories as well as beauty products, home decor, bedding, etcetera. Most of the merchandise was in perfect condition, but I did see some that had snags and stains. I saw brand-name merchandise, but the selection was very miscellaneous so was not usually in my size or preferred style. The prices were discounted from what other stores would charge. At the cash registers, the line of customers was very long, but several cashiers were working. My cashier accurately rang up my purchase and spoke...
