When you order Domino's you know what you're getting. They don't try to be fancy. It just is what it is - cheap, chain takeout pizza. It's not good, but it serves a purpose. Blaze tries to be creative with their offerings, but they fall short on both flavor and service. We ordered ahead. The food was ready when we arrived to pick it up. Soon as we got in the car we dug into our little dough knots. They were cold. And tasteless. Immediately I knew the pizza would be a let down too. And it was. But first, the Caesar salad. Tiny, tasteless, and a total rip off. Ok, so I got the Red Vine pizza with roasted garlic. The crust was crispy on the edges, and limp in the middle. It was cold. The cheese was oddly not melted at all, or had congealed from being cold. Hard to tell. The roasted garlic was rubbery. My daughter got pepperoni. She refused to eat it. And she loves LOVES pepperoni pizza. Hers was also cold and limp, and yes tasteless. Pepperoni itself wasn't bad. For a large, growing chain I would expect much better. Since moving to Pittsburgh we've had our share of pizza from terrible to pretty good. A couple have even been great! This was not...
Read moreThis is actually great quick pizza and not expensive at all either. You can get in there and get served in no time or usually that's mostly the case.
I have to say all of their ingredients taste fresh and they have a delicious pizza sauce.
My last experience was a little bit strange. I walked in to find a female manager bawling out a young woman working there for not doing what she believed was her responsibility on the line. In any case you do not treat your employees that way and you do not do this in front of the restaurant patrons. I actually will be complaining to their corporate head.
Also when I went up to get my pizza the woman that was supposed to be plating and cutting the pizza seemed to believe that her conversation with another co-worker was more important than actually seeing to I was served. She was nice but it was frustrating to see someone so negligent when it comes to customer satisfaction.
I'm giving this four out of five stars for the food but not the service and not the way the management treats...
Read moreWe have been eating from this joint for quite some time and we’ve never been disappointed. But yesterday they showed class and that quality always wins over quantity. As it was Pi day, there was an what seemed to be an endless line to get $3.14 pizzas. I doubted if they could maintain their standards when the demand is so high and the staff was so drained out physically. But I was amazed at how they catered to each order patiently and with a smile and delivered a scrumptious pizza in each box. Your pizzas are not only good because of the taste but there’s a lot of love you guys put in while preparing them. Thank you for yesterday and always.
Ps- we ordered 4 pizzas- 2white top, 1 create your own and 1 green stripe. The Balsamic sauce blew me off and is a must try if you love a little sweetness in your pizza. Their pesto sauce is also a very good option both as a base sauce as well as a...
