Me & my friend went in there today (July 7th) at 9pm and was shopping for her daughter’s clothes. Around 9:30pm we went to self checkout and rang up everything. The guy with green clothes, I guess their security guard said that the weight sensor said there was a shirt balled up in another shirt. We checked the whole screen and checked all the clothes and we rang up everything. I even rang up an item and it came up on the screen twice so we already rang it up. He proceeded to say “well like I said the weight sensor said this and that” and my friend was being nothing but nice about it and he said “why don’t we cancel the order and have someone ring you out” basically accusing us of stealing because we are African American. We literally come into this Target all the time, twice a week. I am a member circle and literally have receipts of me purchasing every thing every time I came in here. So for them to say that we was stealing is racist and he was racial profiling. Even the lady with the brown curly hair was watching us the whole time and did not even defend us saying she watched us or anything. It’s literally 2024 and for black people to still get racial profiled at a store is ridiculous especially when I come in here all the time. I have heard other black people saying they have got racial profiled even my own family members. To the guy who accused us of stealing, I hope you actually get better. To the girl who watched us and did not saying anything, get better. And I reported this issue to customer service. It was a girl with blonde hair. She said she is going to get her manager to give me a call back. I expect a call back within 72 hours or I will take this to corporate. Target on McKnight, you lost a couple of customers. We ended up going to the Target out Mccandless who actually treats us with respect and a smile every time we come. They love all...

I wanted an item that I saw was available for pick up at this location so I drove to this location from another Target 25 miles away. After searching the store and not finding it, I asked an employee who explained some items are at the store but only pickup eligible (color me confused) so I placed a pick up order at that time for the item. I then wanted to look at the shoes and asked an employee where I could find them in which he responds, “I’m off the clock”. I’m walking around with 3 kids, one a 3 week old that I needed a pulse oximeter for as he’s having health issues. I was so mad that an individual couldn’t even point me in the right direction, common decency isn’t hard. I’d rather have him ignore me than be rude.
My pick up order said it would be ready within 2 hours and it took every bit of the 2 hours for the order to be ready for pick up. I had asked after 1.5 hours if it was going to be fulfilled and if there would be a way to get it picked any faster and I was blown off by the customer service staff member and essentially told that they won’t see my order till it’s picked.
I love target and haven’t ever had a bad experience. I have a red card because it’s my go to store. I’m definitely disappointed after...
Read moreIt's been awhile since I shopped at Target. I had gift cards that I wanted to use. So today while shopping I couldn't find lip sunscreen so I saw a woman walking by that worked there and figured she would know where to direct me. First off she was busy playing in her phone. I got an eye roll for bothering her with my customer related question. She proceeded to tell me she didn't know where lip sunscreen was. Then with attitude told me she doesn't work in that department. I said well can you tell me who does work in that department or could she call someone that knew. She was completely ignorant and rude. I ended up walking away from her thanking her for nothing. I work in the same kind of industry and know customers should not be treated like that. If I didn't know I would of found someone that did know. The woman's name was Ann or Amy older lady about 50 black shoulder length hair. I seen her on my way out. She was a cashier and it was about 10:25 when I was checking out. Hopefully someone can teach this woman a thing or two about customer service. Maybe she should worry more about the customers than playing on her phone. I will not be back to Target. My money will be spent someplace that is nice to the customers and is willing to help if they need it. On a positive note the lady that checked me out was...
