Iâve had the worst experience with this company... I absolutely would not shop here again.. I donât even want the items of purchase but they had told me absolutely no refunds. I purchased my pieces on the 1/19 and when they were delivered the following week, the sofa bed was broken and the accent chair had a huge stain on it... I was devastated. This was a day I had to call out of work, because the moving company calls you the day before and tell you what time they are coming to your house. You donât have an option of choosing the best time, whether itâs morning or evening, and again they call you the day before. The next day the movers came, they had to take all the furniture back with them. I went back to the store, that same day and spoke to Jim, the sales manager, and he apologized and kept saying give us another chance the movers probably didnât package it well.... blah blah blah. I didnât want to deal with Ashley after that but of course no refunds. Which I didnât know until that day... that wasnât told to me the day of purchase. That was sales tactic by the salesman. For my inconvenience, Jim did offers a credit of my delivery fee and practically sends me on my way. The rescheduled date for the items is the next week and again same issue... the accent chair is broken!!!! Why is this company selling broken furniture as new?! I immediately call the store, and of course every manager is there but always busy.... no one bothers to call me back or return my messages! Horrible customer service. Therefore, I go back to the store, speak with Jim, whom never actually credit my account the delivery fee, from two weeks ago, explains my frustration with the company, but again thereâs nothing he can do. They wanted to send me new legs to the chair and have a technician fix the chair!!! That makes no sense! I paid for a new chair, and they want to send me a broken one and repair it?! I wanted a refund and cut all ties with this company! Jim, couldnât do anything, therefore, I asked for the store manager John or Joe... he says the same thing, I canât do anything for you. He offers a $50 credit on a $600 chair!! Thatâs was a slap in the face! Then when I ask why wasnât my delivery fee credited, of course he says thatâs a big no no, I donât even know why Jim would offer such. He then offers me a $100 gift card to the store! I Donât want to purchase anything from this store, and have a repeat of what just happened twice!!!! Makes no sense. Then I ask for the District Manager DJ, whom was actually sitting, right next to John/Joe the entire time and listening to this conversation. He never introduced himself as such, never apologized never done anything. Therefore, when I asked to speak with the district manager there was no need for me to explain anything to him because he heard all of it...again bad customer service. What does he tell me?! Again no No Refunds. He then says heâs not offering me the delivery fee credit, he can only offer me $100 credit and he doesnât see any notes of where that was offered nor does he see any notes that I came into the store two weeks ago!! Completely unacceptable!!! Long story short, This was by far the worst experience ever, between the actual home store and the warehouse!! I would never shop there again!! Leroy, the salesman was good, accept he never mentioned all sales are final... As a first time customer at Ashleyâs, I would never go back there. I definitely dodged a bullet because I was considering furnishing my whole house as one stop shop, with their line of credit... Iâm so...
Read moreThis rate goes to the individuals in the front desk of Ashley at Rosedale who were making fun of my concern and incompetent enough to resolve my issue. It seems that they have hidden agendas and since they are not fazed about the company's reputation on how they treat costumers, they could be doing it like a pro. The girl who answered me on the phone a couple of times that claimed herself as the manager and claimed the name "Britney" is bringing the company's name at a loss. She is not an asset. Unfortunately, I have to go to BBB-Business Bureau as my last resort in order for my concerns to be resolved. I was treated unfairly and ridiculed while trying to cancel a warranty furniture protection of which I believe is not going to be beneficial to me . I was on the phone back and forth with the customer service of the warranty company and the front desk of Ashley Rosedale for the cancellation of the said product but only to be told several times that once the product is purchased, it is final with no significant reason why? But when you go read the terms and conditions at the back of the invoice it clearly states that you can return a merchandise within 30 days upon purchase. I have made my complaint even before the last furniture was delivered and made note of every phone call, date, and email made via the warranty company. The girl who was on the other end of the line who answered me on April 8, 2019 sounded like an illiterate, uneducated front desk with no training of customer service. They already screwed the delivery of the furniture at the beginning of the purchase and felt something fishy going on. It is stated that delivery will be in 6 weeks but I never thought it would be that long but that was okay. What is not okay is when they try to let me pay at least half of the second delivery when the merchandise has been sitting all along in the warehouse! I went and checked on the status of every item online. I spoke with the manager again and she reiterated that I have to shoulder the other half of the delivery but could not provide me a reasonable answer why should I pay when it was not my fault. When I went to their warehouse, the two kind ladies on the front desk were asking me why was I charge for a delivery fee when all of my items are there waiting and ready to be delivered. They cleared it out and made arrangements free of charge and admitted there was a mistake of communication at the showroom. This just shows that the individuals manning the showroom store are incompetent, disrespectful, and maybe even deceitful. If you have issue about your recent purchase, I suggest you go to the store and do not leave unless it is taken cared of. DO NOT CALL. If not resolved, go to BBB and file a complaint so the upper executives will know about the...
Read moreSTAY AWAY! The sales person was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Good service ends with the sales person. I received damaged furniture( I bought a sectional, the dust cover had a gaping hole on two pieces). I was told if I returned the furniture, I would be charged a delivery fee to the store and a re-delivery fee to my house. I was given the option to have someone come out and do the repair at my house. The dust cover material was delivered to my home, the repair guy arrived about 2 weeks later. The repair job was very unprofessionally done, I was not happy with the job and I called to request for someone else to be sent out. I was told that the guy is trained and has done the job for a long time and that no one else will be sent out. I asked to speak to the manager and I was told they will send an email to the manager and I should expect a response in 24 hours. At this point, I still had the repair handy man in my house and I was concerned that he would damage the furniture. The repair was done using a staple gun, I had to have the guy take the dust cover out a couple of times because some staples were loose, other parts had hanging fabric, some parts had the fabric folded in, and other parts had an open space, and uneven edges. I was very unhappy with the job( I will upload the pics here). After redirecting the repair guy several times, the job was done to what I consider safe for my family but not to satisfaction. I would have expected better service considering this is brand new furniture, 3 weeks old. My advise to anyone, DON'T AGREE FOR REPAIR TO BE DONE IN YOUR HOME. RETURN THE FURNITURE AND EXCHANGE FOR UNDAMAGED FURNITURE. As for customer service, you will never get to talk to the manager, instead, you always get a run around. I called Ashley furniture about 5 times, during this whole process, and I was always told to call back when I asked to speak to a manager. I had a great salesman, unfortunately the good customer service ends there!!!!!. I have never posted a google review but I had to post this one. PS: The repair guy was very pleasant and professional, he was very patient and did what he was sent out to do. I felt bad for the guy, it is not his fault that his craft/workmanship is not up to par. Ashley furniture sends out their delivery guys to come out and do furniture repair ( the receipt that I signed stated that he was a delivery guy). I guess Ashley furniture does this for cheap labor. To management: this is not about the repair guy, this is about Ashley furniture lack of training their staff, do not blame this on the poor guy. Fix your inadequacies, hire a professional that can get the...
