We went during the week in the evening. The waitress and hostess were nice but our waitress could have been more attentive. We had to ask another waitress for a few things bc she didn't check on us and once she forgot an item. Our bad experience started when we got our steaks, mine was medium and my bfs was medium rare. Well his steak was rare and mine was medium rare. We didn't want to make a big deal about it bc we both can eat rare steaks. It's just not what we wanted that evening. I ask for horseradish for my steak. It was very fresh. As I was eating it, I found a hair in the small dish. Our server wasn't far from us and I waved her over. She immediately apologized and put the hair into a napkin. She replaced the horseradish but I couldn't eat the rest of my steak. I kept thinking about the hair. It definitely wasn't mine or my bfs. I have very long red hair and my bf shaves his head bald. The waitress didn't tell the manager but I saw him asking people if everything was all right and called him to our table. I told him what happened with the hair and he asked me if I was sure it was hair! He said horseradish sometimes looks like hair. I told him the waitress put it in a napkin it was too long and had a curl to it, it definitely wasn't the natural texture of horseradish. I was a bartender for a long time and I've made a lot of Bloody Mary's and I also keep it in my house. I felt like it was rude to even ask me that question. He said well sometimes things like this happen. I hope you have a wonderful evening and left!!! I wasn't looking for a free meal. We spent over $100 on our meal. He could have paid for the appetizer or taken a few dollars off the check. As we were leaving there was a gentleman refusing to pay for his steak bc it wasn't cooked properly and the manager was arguing with him about it . That evening we both had a little bit of indigestion and an upset stomach. The next day we were both sick and taking turns running to the bathroom. My bf paid in cash and didn't take the receipt. I asked him to please start taking the receipt bc if I had it I would have called their corporate office. I don't care what you pay for a meal it shouldn't make you sick. I'm not talking about McDonald's here. We dropped a little over $120. For that amount of money I except everything to be okay. The fact that the manager question me if it was even hair is unacceptable. I highly doubt that LongHorn Steakhouse wants their customers treated that way. I'm not a big meat eater anymore but when I wanted a good steak this is where I went. I'll be looking for a new steakhouse. DO NOT EAT AT THIS RESTAURANT!

I enjoy stopping at this LongHorn for lunch when I’m working in the area. My main gripe is the time it takes—if you're planning to come here for lunch, expect to spend at least an hour and a half. When I sit at the bar, the bartender is also responsible for a fairly large dining section, which really slows things down. I’ve had times when it took 20 minutes just to get a salad, even when the restaurant wasn’t busy. Add another 20 minutes just to receive and pay the check. That said, shoutout to Nicole! Even though I only stop in occasionally, she remembers my order and makes sure I’m taken care of quickly. When she’s working, I’m usually in and out in under an hour without feeling rushed or neglected. LongHorn should keep in mind that lunch guests are often on a limited schedule—this isn’t a leisurely dinner. Now, aside from that issue, they do have great lunch specials. I love the Seven Pepper Steak Salad—it’s delicious, comes with a warm bread roll and iced tea, and all for under $17. I always leave full. I also appreciate that they let me customize the salad the way I like it. My only feedback for the kitchen: I always order my steak medium rare, but it’s rarely cooked that way. I don’t like to waste food, so I usually don’t send it back—but consistency matters. You’ll see in my photos that some salads come out looking picture-perfect, while others are just okay. Every plate should meet the same standard before it leaves the kitchen.

When my wife and I have a busy Sunday and want to eat out, we plan to get to the restaurant early and leave before it gets too busy. Ordered the crispy chicken wings and wild west shrimp. Both were delicious and was afraid we would get full on the appetizers before the main entrees. Well, even-though we were one of the three of the parties in the restaurant, the service from here went south real quick. The young waitress seemed pleasant, but when we had to look for her after asking for items like, two Caesar salad dressings after bringing 1, ordered steaks and did not ask if we needed steak sauce, steaks sat for 5 minutes while we looked for waitress, another 5-7 minutes waiting for to-go containers, because at this point we decided to take our food home and eat instead of the restaurant. We normally order from this Long Horn online and pick food up at curbside, but decided to eat in for the first time today. When asking the front door person to assist, she deferred to our waitress showing no concern for our needs while we were in the restaurant as well as when we were leaving. It pains us to not leave a tip as tips are an addition to what the waiters and waitresses need to subsidize their income; however, bad service will always get a small or no tip. Unfortunately this case warranted no tip at all. The food is always a 10+ and we will continue to order online, pickup, but never again attempt to eat in at this location.

We visited this location on Memorial Day at approximately 2pm. There were 3 adults and two children in our party. When we arrived, we stood at the hostess podium almost 10 minutes before we were greeted. When the older woman asked how many were in our party, she rolled her eyes and made a noise when I told her five. She then disappeared for a few minutes leaving us standing there. When she came back, we were told to take a seat and wait as they had to figure some things out. Ten minutes later we were finally seated and told by the same woman that they didn't expect to be busy on a holiday and were short handed. After being seated it took another 15 minutes for a server to take our drink order. When she finally arrived, she had an attitude and clearly didn't want to be there that day. After she finally brought us our drinks, she asked to take our appetizer AND entree orders at the same time. I told her I did not want to place the entree order yet as I did not want the food to come out cold or at the same time as our appetizers. Again, I got an attitude as she said that would not happen. After taking the two appetizer orders she returned five minutes later to take the entree orders. I again emphasized that I do not want all the food brought to the table until we were almost finished with the appetizers. She acknowledged and said it wouldn't happen. About twenty minutes pass and another server brings out the two appetizers which were good. About five minutes later, all five entrees were brought out after I specifically said not to do that. On the three steak and shrimp entrees, the steaks were undercooked, under seasoned and cold and the shrimp were over cooked, salty and cold. All the side dishes were also cold. The one children's cheeseburger was almost burnt and cold while the other children's meal had a steak that was over cooked and cold. None of the servers returned to the table to offer refills or to see if there were any issues. Clearly, the staff, cooks and management do not know how to treat customers, follow specific instructions or properly schedule a staff on a holiday. This is the second time we have had extremely poor service and food from this establishment. If that wasn't bad enough, after giving the waitress $200 and asking for $40 in change on a $135 bill, she had the nerve to ask me again if I wanted change. Are you kidding? You wanted a $60 tip for the service and quality of food you gave us? We should have gone to Texas Roadhouse where they are at least consistent with their preparation of meals and service. I will be sure to NOT recommend this establishment to all...

I called the Longhorn in Rosedale, MD in the beginning of January and let them know I would like to dine with a large party of people at the restaurant on 2/10/2024. I inquired about reservations and was told the restaurant did not do reservations, but if I planned to dine with a large party I should call a few hours ahead the day of and give the number of people in my party along with the time we planned to dine at the restaurant so they could prepare to accommodate us. I did exactly that. On 2/10 I called the restaurant at 1:30pm and explained that I would like to dine at the restaurant at 6pm and my party would consist of 12 people. I was transferred to the manager on duty at the time and she confirmed that my party of 12 would be placed in their system for 6pm. She also explained that there may still be a wait for my party of about 30 minutes or so since there would be other large parties at the restaurant at that time. When my party and I arrived at the restaurant I was told by the host that a table for 2 was listed under my name and there would be a 1.5 - 2 hour wait before they could serve a party of 12. I explained that I called ahead and it wouldn’t have made sense for me to only call ahead for 2 people since reservations are not done at their location and they only allow large parties to call ahead. I was met with a dismissive attitude and a disingenuous apology. There was no real effort made to accommodate or compensate my party and I find that to be highly unprofessional considering it was an error made by someone in a management position. I frequent this location often and have never had an issue, but this is unacceptable. I understand accidents happen and I was able to make other arrangements, but I should not have had to do so on such short notice. I am very unhappy and also displeased with how they handled this situation and can only hope this will not be a new norm for this location. Very...
