Price Busters Discount Furniture — Local services in Rossville

If I could give this store zero stars I would I had the worst experience purchasing furniture from here and if you’re reading this review I repeat DO NOT BUY from this store. I purchase over $6000 in furniture from price busters in June both from 7856 eastern Ave and 8643 Pulaski Highway , my first issues was when my sofa was delivered and I had problems the manager at 7856 Easter ave personally FaceTime me and resolved my issue immediately because he’s concerned about his store and team reputation. I recently however went to 8643 Pulaski Highway to make a purchase which I have the receipt to price that as not only a customer but a loyal repeating customer who been shopping at price busters for the last 5 years had a furnitures delivered, the two delivery guys keep rushing me to sign and I did not however it was getting late and he said they had several more deliveries if I sign the paper that they will wait in the truck so obviously being the honest person I am I thought they was going to be honest too however when I open my drawer the back was broken I immediately came outside looking for the delivery drivers when I notice they was driving of I immediately call the store 8463 Pulaski when a female answered the phone I explained to her the situation she ask if the drivers is still there I said no they’re driving off can you please tell them stop she said she said cannot do that and I would need to contact customer service. I reach out to customer service who I kept emailing over and over until finally a guy name Allen Jones Replied. After his first reply he two approximately 4 days to respond and said they have to contact the manufacturer I waited another week and did not get any response so I keep emailing him over and over until he finally send me back an emailing stating that I’ll have to pay $200 in order for them to come out and take the damage furniture and give me a new one I have receipts of purchase I made with price busters spending almost $10.000 in the past two years and after this purchase I would no longer do business with you guys because of this heart broken moment and unwilling support that price busters associate provided to me and as a consumer I would never want anyone else go thru this painful moment am feeling that they delivered damaged furniture to me and is lying about it that day alot about your integrity and also Roland gave me his word that because of my first horrible experience that he would make sure that I never have to go through this again and yet here I am for the second time in a month with horrible experiences purchasing from...

My experience with this company was horrible. At first things started out well....I went to the Rosedale location and was approved for financing. I need the a bedroom set and dining room set to move into my new place and was told that it would be $198.00 biweekly and would be delivered on Nov. 20, 2020. After some thought and shopping around I found what I needed for a lower price and informed Price Busters by email as told. I then received an phone call from a manager named “Keisha” who informed me that they could let me out of the contract but that I needed to pay a $410.00 restocking fee. I questioned why I would have a restocking fee on furniture that wasn’t even scheduled for delivery until Nov. 20th???.....makes no sense. She then asked me what issue was and I told her that I found something more manageable financially. She told me that she was going to try to work on some numbers and call me back but never did. I called the next day and she stated, “I apologize we were really short staffed...I’ll do it right now and call you back in 15 mins....again nothing. I went to the store the following day and asked for the manager that never called me back on two occasions and she called me by name and asked for my receipt...told me the I had to pay the restocking fee because once the finance company pays them the furniture is stored in they’re warehouse waiting to be delivered....only for me to call the finance company and get out of the contract with no issues. Please beware and shop...

Unfortunately, negative stars doesn’t exist. I financed 3 beds and a dresser from Price Busters through Progressive, the finance company. A week before my scheduled delivery I decided to cancel the order because I just wanted to wait and pay cash. I was told that I could not cancel because they had already loaded the truck and that I would have to call progressive to cancel. I said, you can unload the truck because I don’t want the stuff.

Delivery day comes and I’m at work. I receive several calls from the delivery drivers, which I didn’t answer. I knew I had to sign for the furniture, so I assumed they would just take the order back. Finally my kids call me at work to say Price Busters just dropped off the boxes on my lawn and left.

I called Progressive and told them what happened and they said, Price Busters is not supposed to even give you the furniture until they receive our payment and they know that. They said they were going to file a complaint. The man from progressive was very nice and said I could either return the furniture or he would give me 6 months to pay without any fees! I kept the furniture, but my bed was broken in a month and both my daughters beds were broken...
