This post actually pains me to write because I don't know where to begin. I received a postcard offering me a free birthday meal with one paid companion. I decided to visit one evening for a late dinner. This was my first visit. I arrived around 9 p.m. and went to the bar to wait for my friend to show. I asked the male bartender if it were too late to receive freshly prepared food, to which he answered no it wasn't too late. I asked for two menus then waited for my friend. Around ten minutes later she arrived then we placed our order. We waited about twenty five minutes for our two dishes. When we received the food ALL OF IT WAS COLD! BOTH PLATES! The bartender was about 10 feet away talking to another young lady (who turned out to be the restaurant Manager) while she was eating at the other end of the bar. I proceeded to get his attention by calling for him MANY TIMES before I finally got up and walked over to him. I let him know that both meals were cold and he said it was impossible. I asked him to simply touch both rice portions to which he answered "no, I'm not going to because I know they're hot. They were just made." This is were it gets dicey. I explained that if the food was hot we would have eaten it immediately. He said again, "I know the food is hot." Several minutes go by and he simply walks away. I ask for a manager since he went back down the bar to continue his conversation with the young lady. We proceeded to leave, WITHOUT EATING A SINGLE BITE OF EITHER PLATE! HE CHASES OUT THE RESTAURANT AFTER US WITH HIS PHONE IN HAND SAYING HE WAS TAKING A PICTURE OF OUR CAR TO SEND TO THE POLICE! Angrily we proceed back inside following him and again asking for a manager. After some more minutes have passed he walks back over to us and tells us to leave and NEVER COME BACK! This bartender actually admonished us for not wanting to eat or pay for cold, old food rather than simply providing GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE! BOTTOM LINE IS SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AND SIMPLY EAT SOMEWHERE ELSE. IT'S DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE PRICE...
Read moreGreat food! We’ve visited this location several times, but today was different. For starters we ordered our food and the server was fast and not really paying attention because he was assuming what we wanted instead of listening. He brought our drinks, salads, and soups at the same time which was satisfying. Then he brought our entrees at that time we noticed one of the meals was wrong. We immediately let him know. He shrug his shoulder, said oh… it’s the same thing. We tried to tell him it was a price difference, again he didn’t listen. Also we had to let him know our wings which was an app didn’t come out. He told us a few minutes. The wings didn’t come out until the other food was gone. So one person didn’t have their meal until everyone else was completed. Check came we noticed it wasn’t correct spoke with server, pulled menu up to show what we were trying to explain to him about what we wanted. He played us off like we didn’t know what we’re were talking about. He called the manager TONY. We explained the situation with him. His demeanor and mannerism was disgusting and very unprofessional. He basically explain that his server was right for telling us the two different priced/items meals was the same meal. Also that customers usually get their orders wrong and since we been there before he assumed we wanted the same order. That was totally wrong because last time we order a sushi boat. He also didn’t take in mind his server forgotten to put our wings in, that we question him did he get it while ordering and he said yes. Basically after his server and himself finished arguing with us instead of listening or apologizing he said he’ll change it. Tony then came back to the table and said is that better for you, slammed the check book and pen. He stormed off saying i still trust my server! Which was totally unprofessional and uncalled for. It wasn’t a issue about the cost. It was to inform him about our visit and service which was totally ignored and uncared for. This was the worst experience ever....
Read moreWhen I first came to this restaurant I was in love with the atmosphere, food, and service. But my last two visits has completely changed my mind about this place. The first to last visit I brought two of my friends to the restaurant since they were curious about this place I was raving about. Well the sushi was an hour late. The wait didn't really bother us because I was with two friends that I hadn't seen in awhile so we were so deeply engaged in conversation. What we did notice was that the restaurant in general was basically short staffed and usually if this happens in any business the manager/owner/leader who ever rolls up their sleeves and help out but this guy decided to stand over his employees shoulders as if that was supposed to help them move faster when they're already moving as fast as they can. Poor leadership quality. The second to last visit was horrible. I called in for sushi for take out and the order was the complete wrong amount giving us way more than what we asked for. The manager yelled at the poor hostess in front of everyone and made her cry. Again what kind of leader does this? The manager took the food and instead of just sorting out the food that my mom and I asked for and letting us be on our way he decides to make us wait even longer for the food and get our order after he was done putting away all the pieces of sushi. As he gave my mom and I the food he told us to "clarify the order next time" with an attitude then snatched the credit card out my moms hand! What kind of customer service is this?? So when he came back I told him he needed to go apologize to his employee for publicly humiliating her and making her cry. I told him that his behavior was not professional and the service was awful. He wasn't sorry at all. I was so hopeful for this restaurant but I don't see this place lasting much longer if he thinks he can talk to his employees and most importantly his customers like scum on the bottom...
