😱OMG!! Let me tell everyone about this place. First, I’m extremely pissed at myself for discovering this place after residing in this area for a year 🤨 thank you everyone for the reviews. Your experience helped steer me in their direction. The presentation was a 5. I like how the fish was wrapped in foil and placed on the rice. I had the choice to eat the fish separately or an add it to the rice. The bread was wrapped separately as well. The plate was very colorful and appealing.

The taste was a 5. The fish was very flavorful. I would’ve liked some type of sauce drizzled on top of the fish and some fried onions for added flavor. The fish was delicious alone but the onions will elevate the dish. The fresh salad was very crispy and fresh. The chickpeas were soft, tasty and filling. The rice was dry as mentioned by a reviewer,however, I poured the green sauce all over the plate and the taste changed drastically! The rice was easier to eat with the dish. The bread😱😱was the best thing I ever had 💚 you can smell the fresh burnt flavors on the bread. It’s the same aroma you get from pancake with the perfect crispy edges.🤤🤤

Atmosphere was a 5: The lobby area was very clean and organized.

Price is a 5: I was able to purchase the entire plate including a drink for $14.99. You can’t beat this deal, especially when the food is prepared homemade.

Overall, I truly enjoyed my visit here! Every bite made me feel like I was sitting at the cook’s dinner table💙 I can’t wait to come back for the goat meat. Thank Tandori for such an amazing experience! I look forward to...

This is one of the worst restaurant that I have experienced with food hygiene and quality. I ordered food for the whole family and I spent over $65 @ 1448 on Tuesday 2 October 2018. I could smell dead rats and mice in the restaurant. I have witnessed dead roaches behind the counter. The samosa and the chicken pie were setting inside the glass cabinets without the warming light on. I asked the cashier when the samosa was cooked and he replied that all food is fresh. After I made my order, the cashier said it will take 15 min to cook and prepare. I noticed the cashier and the cook were not wearing gloves while they were handling my food. Also, I noticed that the cook took out the food from the freezer precooked and placed it inside the microwave to prepare. The food tasted extremely bad, and the spices were overly exaggerated. I had to throw up 2 hours after I ate. I became sick and developed food poisoning. I went to the local emergency in Maryland. After blood test, they explained that I am sick from food poisoning. My advise for everyone is to avoid eating at that horrible restaurant. The owners who are from Pakistan and the cashier are dishonest. I also noticed that all of the good reviews found online are placed by the restaurant owners and his friends. The restaurant should be reported to the department of health and the local police. I say all the time that I won’t go to desi places anymore - but once a year or maybe twice, if we go - there is always something! The food is barely average here but we came today coz it was closeby and not busy while all the good places would be busy! Extremely bad customer service! Acting like it’s Ramsey steakhouse - like wth - why? I know lots of you follow me for food and restaurant recommendations- so peeps scratch this place off your list 😭😭 Ruined a perfectly good rainy Saturday! If you are really craving Halwa puri - drive a bit farther to BBQ Tonite in Woodlawn and enjoy quality food! So disappointed! We asked for extra chick peas since they don’t give enough with the platter - he asked us to buy a whole separate order - that comes with more naan and rice or what not - in this time and age - everybody charges for extra - even for onions and green chilies restaurants now charge, which is expected - but being rude and inflexible - so crazy! Just give us an extra spoonful - and charge us $5-$6 whatever - don’t make us buy a while extra entree - and then lack of courtesy and even language - not helpful! It’s a good place - many places offer extra - and of course for a charge - but kindness and understanding comes free! And somehow this place lacks that too! And not even...
