Asian Bistro Express — Restaurant in Maryland

If I could give no stars I would. Terrible service for not even great food. Please read all. Seriously, I have so much to say. I ordered food from here(a $50 order) and everything was terrible. I asked how long it would be for the food to arrive and the lady said 30-45 minutes which is totally cool....an hour comes around and I call just checking on the status of the order. She says that the delivery guy is on his way.......so now an hour and half comes around and my boyfriend and I are starving. I call again. She says that her delivery guy is not answering her calls because she is sending him out too much(which is what he gets paid for??). She then tells me to call her worker to ask on him where he is. I agree because my stomach is growling, the guy doesn't answer the phone. I call again in 15 mins and he picks up saying he's 15 minutes away from our apartment(we only live 7 min from store). So we patiently wait and he comes 20 minutes later. We waited over two hours for our food!!! AND ITS COLD. NOT EVEN WARM TO THE TOUCH. Not only that but then the driver doesn't even have a pen with him(yes I was still going to tip because I am a nice person). Yes this happens but I didn't have a pen and for all I know he could write his own tip and final amount since it's my cc, he really just wanted a blank receipt. I call and complain and she says it's because they are super busy. My boyfriend doesn't want me to complain but seriously??? So I call for a refund and she tries to talk me into a discount instead of a refund.....the discount was for one egg roll. Seriously. One free egg roll. Like what. She says that I have to to take all the food back in order to get a refund(DUH). So while I was on the phone she is literally talking trash on me to someone in the back. She didn't even put it on hold. So I go and they are completely dead like not a soul in sight and when she opened the door they were literally just closing up. She asked me why I opened the bag(to check my food??) she was extremely rude. Anyway , never eating here again and deff do not recommend...

This Asian bistro is owned and operated by a couple, who do a great job!!! They’re a good team!! it’s a two-man operation!!! the husband makes the sushi and the wife is the order taker and they both prepare the food and check customers out!! The husband has a very even personality, always gracious, always smiling, always kind, now the wife on the other hand, she is very snarky, quick-tempered, and expects, and I mean expects a tip for carry out, especially if you order sushi, which I find very greedy!!!OWNERS aren’t even supposed to press you for a tip!!! Tips are for employees of the business, servers, that are making less than minimum wage half of minimum wage for that matter!!! it’s probably the manner in which she does it which is what rubs me the wrong way, she will swipe your credit card prepare your ticket with the whole time she’s staring you down thinking that it’s going to make you more likely to tip her which, I find so unprofessional as an owner!! there’s also a tip jar on the counter, I always like to get an xtra soy sauce for my sushi, maybe extra ginger,maybe some extra wasabi!!!however, she tenses up whenever, I ask for anything like that, so why would I Tip her if she’s gonna make me feel uncomfortable, if I wanna get extra accompaniments!! I know I’m the kind of person that if you are consistently putting out excellent food and you have a personality and demeanor that, I can count on,I’m gonna tip, but I’ll be damned if I’m gonna tip,if you’re gonna be snarky and rude whenever you feel like it!! maybe she needs to take out Dale Carnegie‘s book on how to influence and win people over!! I let it slide a few times in the beginning,I thought well maybe she was just...

This has seriously been by FAR the worst food I have ever eaten. I ordered chicken pad thai.... it was basically a bad tasting noodle soup with raunchy flavors and overcooked noodles and chicken that didn't resemble the taste of chicken one bit. I also have ordered meat wontons....I have first of all never seen wontons to look the way they did... it was basically dough that has tremendous amount of yeast to make more for the pennies that it cost AND there was no meat :) shocker? I think not! When I called to ask for a refund for something that looked like cat food, I was denied. Horrible service, absolutely not edible food, terrible quality. I am not asking for Michelin star quality food obviously, but at least I would like to enjoy the meal slightly and not be ignored and rejected for a refund when I was clearly unhappy about meatless wontons. I would never eat there again and I do not recommend anyone to eat there unless you are starving in...
