We got there on Thursday night at 5:21. Ordered drinks and appetizer and dinner around 6:00. Saw 4 sets of 4+ people come in and leave, no one greated them and no where to sign in or sit. We finally got our food around 6:30, no appetizer, had to remind her. When we got our food we ordered another entre to go. Appetizer came when we were 1/2 done with dinner. We were never offered drink refill. We finally got our to-go food at 7:30. We were never offered (nor did we ask) for any compensation. Meanwhile, they had 3 different times the line was long for people picking up to-go orders. They turned off open sign at 7 p.m., 2 hours before closing. They need 1) someone to greet, 2) someone to clean tables 3) 3 chefs, 1 sushi, 2 hibachi etc. 3, combination chef/take out. I understand when new you don't want to hire until you have business but there is a fine line between not hiring and loosing business, which they definitely are losing business. If that is a Thursday evening I hate to see friday/Saturday. The food is good, prices fair( considering what other places charge) I hate to see them go under due to poor poor service and just horrible wait time. (And they need cushions on bench, very uncomfortable especially when you have to wait...
Read moreI was actually hesitant to write this review for very selfish reasons. This place is amazing and if more people knew about it, it would be slammed! Despite the good reviews, I had a small amount of doubt as it's a sushi restaraunt in a gas station strip mall. Our party of 5 was seated quickly and service was prompt. First time ever that I actually got my beer before the kids got their Cokes. We ordered 6 rolls that the server helped recommend along with hibachi. The rolls were generally $13 - $15 each and the Hibachi was about $17. We were blown away by the rolls. Generally when I sample multiple rolls, theres one or two that are clearly the best. We honestly couldn't decide which one was the best as they were all so amazing. I've been to some of the higher end sushi places around the area and these are just as good if not better. Sushi Hut is about serving good food so if you want a romantic ambiance, it's probably not your place. If you want some of the best sushi you've ever had, you...
Read moreSushi Hut & Hibachi has been my go-to for takeout, and they continue to impress me with their exceptional customer service. I regularly place and pay for my orders through their convenient online portal, and the process is always smooth and easy.
During my last visit, I sent my teenager in to pick up our order, and instead of her coming back with the food, she returned with a message from the staff. They noticed I normally order hibachi shrimp and wanted to double-check if my order of shrimp fried rice was intentional or a mistake. Sure enough, I had ordered the wrong thing!
The fact that they paid attention to such a detail and took the time to confirm with me shows the level of care they put into their service. They kindly remade the order without any hassle, and I’m incredibly grateful for that. It’s rare to find a place that genuinely cares about ensuring their customers are satisfied.
Thank you, Sushi Hut & Hibachi, for going above and beyond! You’ve earned a...
