Watch Out For Other Hallmark Store Coupons!!
I called this Amy's location not realizing the coupon I had was for Trudy's. Upon arrival I noticed it so I did't even bother going in and I proceeded to the Trudy's location. When I got there I asked specifically for a Maleficent Figurine and was told that they had been out for months. I told the sales associate that I had a coupon for Trudy's and not Amy's where I had found some because I had called ahead. She told me that Amy's wouldn't honor it but that they honor coupons all the time from Amy's. She then took my coupon and went to call the Amy's location to try and reason with them. They refused to do anything of the sort. I ended up finding a very small coupon on Retail Me Not and used it but the saving paled in comparison. I ended up going back over to Amy's and purchased the item since it was a gift. But it is unfortunate that they took that stance. I definitely will not be going back to that store again. It just boggles my mind that they would accept a coupon from Retail Me Not and not another local Hallmark store. Point is....If you go into a Hallmark store...They should seem like they are all one unit and work in harmony. They all have to follow policies. Too bad customer service is one of them. The sales associate at Trudy's went out of her way to help me and if they had the item I was looking for, they most certainly would have made the sale...
Read moreThis store looked like they have a lot to offer by way of greeting cards, decorations, ornaments, gift wrapping, etc. and I was looking forward to picking up a few things during the lunch hour.
Unfortunately, I was unable to experience that, as the sheer amount of sickly sweet, synthetic fragrance being pumped into the air was so untenable that I was forced to beat a hasty retreat. Despite my brief visit my eyes were watering, asthma flaring up, and a headache already forming.
Even more ridiculous was that people could smell this awfulness on me later that day, as it apparently stuck to my clothes and hair.
All I wanted was a relaxing bit away from the office, not holiday-themed...

Linda was absolutely horrible,rude,inattentive, and literally hung up on me after I asked her to look for a box of Christmas cards and put them on hold for me. Never asking my name or phone number, she seemed completely uninterested in helping. I called back after being hung up on and Jennifer was able to assist me with what I needed. It's always important to remind employees to value customers with basic courtesy and respect even if they are having a bad day, feel overwhelmed, or do not...
