Sweet Memes Round Rock — Restaurant in Round Rock

I was really excited to finally get here because the interior, deserts looked so good and delicious in reviews so I needed to give a try. The inside looks absolutely stunning and they also have enough area for you to take nice pictures. I ordered matcha Mille crepe and it was soft, yummy and not super sweet which I loved. We also wanted to get some coffee or tea but here comes "but"..... It was our first time and we WANTED to buy and try the drinks, we aren't picky but since we are not familiar - we had questions. The way the stuff helped us out was bad. The guy was on the phone while we were walking toward him and got back to that straight after not being able to suggest us any drinks after we asked about teas and coffee jelly. No questions of "what do you usually drink/do you like sweeter or less sweet/ strong or less strong drink", no suggestions - n.o.t.h.i.n.g. if there was a line behind us, I'd understand the lack of interest but it was just us. That whole interaction dropped my excitement to the place to almost zero so to sum up Great for one time experience - can't say that it is worth coming back. I recently had a very unpleasant experience at Sweet Memes which has left me feeling frustrated and disrespected. I placed an order for five items , but only received four. When I brought this to the attention of the employees, they insisted that the complete order had been delivered. This was not the case.

What made matters worse was the way the situation was handled. An employee came to our table to verify, implying that we were lying about not receiving the missing drink. This accusatory and dismissive attitude was unprofessional and uncalled for. Instead of resolving the issue, the staff made us feel uncomfortable and embarrassed.

Adding to the frustration, the shops process requires customer to walk back and forth for every single item ordered . If you have ordered more items . This inefficiency is inconvenient

Overall, the customer service at Sweet Memes was severely lacking. Mistakes can happen, but the way they are addressed makes a significant difference. Unfortunately, this experience has left a negative impression, and I am unlikely to return or recommend this...

Would not recommend the boba here. I came with family and we all got different drinks, but the consistency of the boba itself was not the same. Mine and my husband's boba was way undercooked (hard and gritty). Everyone else's boba was okay, but not as soft and chewy as it should be. Don't know if it's because they cook different batches of boba in different ways, but they really need to get this down to some consistency. I also got the grape oolong tea and that was really bitter in a bad way. I am an avid tea drinker, and have left my share of tea to brew for quite some time by accident, but I have not gotten it to be as bitter as what I got from Sweet Memes. Good brewed tea should NOT be that bitter... Even though they had a fancy tea espresso machine, they still did not get it right.
