Jack's truck stop has a great vibe and the concept fills a need in this section of town. What's not to like about a new live music venue with food trucks flanking a food hall decorated with interesting kitsch? Choices of BBQ, burgers and pizza were available during our visit. Green Chile burgers are huge and worth it. Pizza was bad. Crust was cracker thin, no sauce under the (yellow?) cheese, and toppings looked like they were thrown from 10 feet and landed randomly on the pie. We couldn't get passed the uninviting employees and their unwillingness to explain how anything worked or what anything was. The unprofessionalism of the staff is what made us leave without spending a dime in this establishment. Read moreEverything is just a bit overpriced. The putt putt is very basic. The kids will like it because of the lights, but anyone over the age of seven will find it boring.
You have to load up credits on cards so you are locked into whatever you spend.
The laser and mirror maze are way too basic. The obstacle course is kinda neat. There is no real arcade room. Just a couple machines scattered throughout.
Everything is just kind of overpriced and unthrilling. There is some potential here, especially with the room they have but the pricing is a bit too much for what you get.
