Very helpful!! This was an new experience for me since I just moved from one state to another and never had to change my drivers license. And with all the restrictions due to Covid, Made this a little more challenging for me. And I had to make three trips to the MVD, to be fair was my own doing. First time I didn’t have the correct paper work, second time I came on the wrong day ha ha totally my fault and the third time was the charm. Just a helpful hint the state asks for original documents and physical address on all documents and must be current at least 60 days. And you have to have an appointment which was good for me so you have your own time and very little wait time. The ladies who work here were kind and helpful and walked me thru the process. And having a site to go to and reread and confirm what I needed to bring helped a lot. Also being able to make my appointment on line and change if needed with the text and email...
Read moreAs a new resident of New Mexico I needed to register my p/u. They required that the lien holder send them the title and they would issue a new title and return it to the lien holder. They told me they had sent off for the title but had never received it from the lien holder. BUT THEY DIDN'T. Took me 4 trips I had to wait an hour each time I went trying to convince them to resend the request. Finally I contacted Capital One auto finance on speaker phone in the MVD waiting room section and every body there heard Capital One tell me they had NEVER received the request. 4 months to register my truck. I have had only one normal transaction in 5 years of living here out of about a dozen transactions with 6 different vehicles. Never had a minutes trouble when I lived in Texas. To get this type of transaction done right THE FIRST TIME go to Village MVD. Just another example of a Liberal Democratic failed...
Read moreAbsolute worst service you could ask for. Will nitpick at any detail that can give them the excuse to not do any ounce of work. Would not answer phone and when they finally did answer, hung up mid-semtence on me asking if I may please make an appointment. Had to show up unannounced to the building and demand to make an appointment. Rejected every proof of residency until I started to argue, then SUDDENLY, my formerly invalid proof of residency is completely valid and they're happy to take it. I should not have to yell to get something done. If you need a license, leave town and go to an entirely different county. These lazy, rude employees...
