Went into this store after our move to Kentucky to get new service, as our cell service for Sprint did not have coverage in this new area. Went to AT&T in Russell Springs after we received a sale flyer from Direct TV showing that if we transferred to AT&T cellular unlimited plan we would get FREE HBO for the entire time we had our cellular plan and get an additional $25.00 a month off on our direct tv bill. We began to have the account put in as a consumer account as my directv account was a consumer account. The manager stated we would get better discounts if we had a business account. Lo and behold after three months of aggravation and being back and forth on the phone with Directv and AT&T, including even bringing in my Directv bills to AT&T russell springs, the end result was this....Jessica the manager was incorrect in putting our account to a business account as that made our directv and AT&T account not match and disqualified us for the discounts of free HBO and $25.00 a month off of our Directv bill. After being on the phone with a AT&T customer care representative, who also contacted Jessica twice in regard to this matter, the second call he made to her, she hung up on him. She misinformed us and we now had to close our business AT&T account and move it back to a consumer account in order to get the credits due to us for having a bundled package deal as previous told we would. Per Jessica, it did not matter that we had a business account for our AT&T and a consumer account for our Directv, the address was the same. Well Jessica, you were wrong and your information was incorrect. After two hours on the phone with AT&T whom contacted Directv, I have our problem resolved. i am out the three months of free HBO which I have been billed $17.99 plus tax and $75.00 less for Directv discount. Maybe the facility that hired you should make sure you are well aware of the rules and regulations before you promise something to a customer and cannot follow through with your promise. I surely will not go back the facility in Russell Springs as they do not have qualified customer service and even the AT&T representative that called her stated that he would add comments on how she did not inform the customer correctly and did not follow through as our AT&T customer care person. Poor management on their part in Russell Springs. Thanks for the many, many hours I have had to deal with Directv and AT&T. About 25 hours of aggravation to finally get the job done...
Read moreI went in this store on 3 seperate occassions. With the same issue, regarding a AT&T prepaid sim card. That i was unable to activate. And a brand new device ordered online from walmart. All 3 times i was informed that there was nothing they could do to help me. My husband had passed and i had no cell phone or service. Trying to make arrangements. I explained that id filled out form online for EBB. And next step (website) advised reach out to carrier. They will get you set up. I was then told that nobody could assist me with EBB. In addition there were fees I was not told about in this store and I have called At&t customer service and they have been amazing at helping get this fixed.
