The Stuffed Mushroom catered my daughter’s brunch wedding at our home in Ozona (food for 40 people) just this last Saturday.

My daughter wanted to have smaller bites and they had an amazing selection to choose from. They even went above and beyond, finding and testing a catering-friendly avocado toast recipe that was DELICIOUS and did not turn brown!

So yes the food was amazing but let’s talk about the 2 person team—it’s hard to put into words. They did above and beyond ensuring the food was set up beautifully, replenished as needed, tables cleared, trash removed—they kept an eye out for every detail, helping some of our older guests outside to their table by carrying their plates, they noticed that my husband and stepson had contraband in the garage fridge (beer) and even kept them refilled.

I’m not an experienced hostess and relied on their expertise and they just kept things running smoothly and they just did it with such grace and calm! Our guests felt cared for (catered to).

My daughter (the bride) never even had to get up and fix her own plate.

At the end of the event the leftovers (not too much because it was all so good and had been eaten!) had been transferred to my containers and assembled neatly in my kitchen and the remaining coffee was transferred to my coffee pot and set on warm, with 3 of my nicest coffee mugs set next to it. What a nice way to end the day!

We recently had my husband's Celebration of Life memorial at Sylvan Abbey, where we rented a hall. The price of the hall rental included a $900 catering "credit" that can only be redeemed through the Stuffed Mushroom. The items on the catering menu where off the charts expensive. I didn't want or need the caterer, as we had a huge catered party at my daughter's home after the service. I asked Sylvan Abbey to credit me back the $900 catering that I was unaware of when I booked the hall. I was told that's not possible, as they have an agreement with the caterer. I ordered the sweet tray, which consisted of mini eclairs, cream puffs, brownies & lemon bars. About 40 or 50 on each tray. I could've ordered this from Costco or BJ's for about $60! The Stuffed Mushroom catered my mother's funeral and I can't say enough good about it. They were so helpful in the planning and decision making. Then I saw the beautiful display of food and started hearing all the compliments from the guests. Not everything was a favorite (of course) but almost! The asparagus crepes, sandwiches and deserts were terrific. And they did very well for our vegan needs with cucumber cous cous bites and very fresh and delicious fruit kabobs. I mostly got to eat when it was leftovers - which they kindly and carefully packed up for us. I'm glad my first bite of a petit four was NOT at the funeral home because I said, "OH MY GOD" a little too loudly! I'm currently plotting for an excuse to order from them again.
