Spencer's — Local services in Saginaw Charter Township

Usually when I go into the store there's a lot of products and everyone is very nice and always asks if I need assistance. Usually I have to buy something, always funny stuff or cute merch. I am curious how a return policy works or an exchange because the last few days the employees have been inconsistent with the policy and really got me frustrated. I recently purchased a binder clothing product for my friend as a surprise. This employee was very sweet and nice and showed me where the binders were, and another gave me information about them and tape which was very helpful. Then I asked the first employee for the procedure for returning it, if it didn't fit. She said could exchange for any clothing item that was the same price. The next day I went back in because it was the wrong size and there were 5 employees talking and laughing and couldn't get their attention to assist me to look for a bigger size. Finally got one to help me and she said the sizes only go to XL, which I purchased a bigger size the day before to make sure it fit on them since it looked like it ran small. Plus online says they go to at least one bigger size. I said I had the tag on it still and had the receipt, then she stated they never know when they'd get a new stock in then said I only have 30 days and the policy changed from what the original employee said the day before. That it could be any clothing item then stating it could be only lingerie items. I understand that it is a chest binder but that's not exactly lingerie. It helps with someone's identity. I know it can be fun to work with multiple people but you still gotta help the customers and don't seem upset because they interrupted your talking. Unsure what the procedures are for returning/exchanging but unsure if will go back to...
