H.W. Davis Clothing and Shoes — Local services in Saint Augustine

My husband and I were passing through from out of town yesterday. We were starting to get cold walking around, so we went in to get something to warm up. They do have a great variety of clothes, hats, shoes, & good pricing. As for customer service, I wasn’t very thrilled with it. The women completely ignored me with the hoodie I had in my hand and asked my husband if she could take his up front and fold it for him while we were looking at hats. Didn’t ask to take mine. And then we are checking out and she still pays no mind to me even though I set my Hoodie with my husbands things. She then proceeds to say, “these are separate correct?” Ummmmm no? I was honestly appalled and felt a little disrespected to be ignored along with being asked that question while we are checking out. I personally did not feel welcome. For future references, if a couple comes in together, you make them both feel welcomed. Not...

As many other reviewers mentioned, you won’t feel welcome in this store. The salesperson asked a lady standing beside me if she could help her, walked past me without saying a word, and then asked someone else if she could help them. The only thing I could think of is that she thought I didn’t have money to buy. I had on a ball cap, golf shirt and shorts. Maybe she didn’t think I could afford the clothes. I felt very uncomfortable and immediately left. The store has cute casual summer wear. I needed business clothing for my job and it would be hard to find something of that nature in this store. Either way, I would not do business with this store. And yes, they do stare at you like you’re going...

Not only do these guys have an extensive selection of shoes, flops, hats, and shirts from all the major outfitter brands, they seriously know their stuff! I'm super-particular about sunglasses, so when i saw the massive selection of Costa frames i was intrigued. The gentleman working helped me for at least thirty minutes till i decided on a pair. He knew each frame inside and out, sizes, lenses, etc. I've been wearing these new Costas for nearly two weeks, and I've never been happier with sunglasses! Not only are the Costa glasses awesome, but the guys here really made sure i got exactly the ones that fit me perfectly!
